Didn’t Keith say “I want to change the way the world dresses!”? He can’t deal with the fact that people have tastes and preferences outside his narrow scope. I can just imagine that he thought if he could only just show people what they were supposed to like, he’d have everyone saying, “wow, you’re so right. I never thought of that. Certainly we should chose you and your designs!” He doesn’t understand that most people want comfortable, attractive clothes that they can sit in.

Sitting?! What are you doing sitting?! You can’t show off the clothes while you’re sitting! You must stand! Your comfort means nothing! The clothes are all!

I think that Keith thought that his weirdo fringe style would be a huge hit, and he wasn’t prepared to deal with the fact that it wasn’t.

Thing is, I think his weirdo fringe style could have worked if he’d bother to listen to what the judges were saying about it. It needed editing. He needed to clean up the fringe, pay attention to color, and pay attention to shape. His NY at night dress could have been interesting. It had a concept. But on the model it was gray, shapeless, and kind of ragged looking. The drag dress last week was the same; it could have been good, had he shaped the fringe and done a better job with the colors. Instead, his model looked like her outfit had been shredded.
The one time his fringe did work with the judges, was when he was with Kenley, who annoys me to no end, but at least doesn’t send shapeless sacks down the runway. I don’t think he figured out what they were asking for that he wasn’t giving them.
What accent does Chris Webb, the guy from Saturn, have? It started out sounding a bit Irish, then there were hints of New Zealand, some regional English accent, and a touch of “gay”. It was different every time he spoke.
