Project Runway Mystery Solved!

Earlier this year, Tim Gunn of Bravo’s Project Runway, told us he wasn’t sure if there was gonna be another year of Project Runway or if he was gonna be on the show next year. This sounded strange since there were reports that PR was one of Bravo’s highest rated show. Now we know why: Project Runway is moving from Bravo to Lifetime

Uh-oh! Catfight between The Other Gay Network and The Network For Women! Will Carson Kressley duke it out with Valerie Bertinelli?! Will Tim Gunn go mano a mano with JoBeth Williams?!

I’m gonna make some popcorn…don’t let them start without me!

Ew. I just can’t imagine this turning out well. I hope they get to keep the same creative team, so it doesn’t turn into “Project Runway: May I Sleep with Danger?”.

“For your next project, you must design a nightclub outfit for Tori Spelling that does not clash with the outfit chosen by Nicholle Tom.”

“The design must express the innocent curiosity that can lead a young girl astray, into the arms of an older man. Pure, but sensual.”

[sub]Oh my god, imagine Tim Gunn saying that! Hee hee hee.[/sub]

“The design must be suitable for hiding the signs of domestic violence, while still allowing those around her to know ‘I am a star!’.”

“Designers, I’m concerned about the amount of Bedazzling I’m seeing on these denim jackets.”

This is going to be fierce!

The move to the new venue, or the riffs in this thread?

I know it’s wrong, but I would so love to see the “Lifetime Movie Challenge” episode of Project Runway…

This is just so wrong on so many levels.

I hope NBC (Bravo’s parent if you didn’t click on the links) kicks the utter shit out of Lifetime.

Thanks Miss Purl, now I got coffee on my white shirt!

Sorry, Terrorcotta! I’ll try not to make made-for-TV movie jokes anymore.

Please, please no. I love PR, but I’m not sure I love it enough to watch it on Lifetime. Anything being broadcast on Lifetime is automatically negative three billion points on my interest-o-meter.

That’s because it’s the Victim Channel - All Victims! All the Time!
(S’ok Miss Purl, it’s my all time favorite movie title!)

You guys should check this out.

The network change doesn’t really bother me. I am gonna reserve judgment til I see the actual episodes.

I must completely and utterly agree with Ro Carter.
