You’d be hard put to convince me that they represent growth stemming from what he did this season. They are in fact elegant and exquisite — quite beautiful honestly, and a cut above the other two. There is not one shred of hideousness of weirdness.

I disagree. I don’t think he grew into Santino, I think the collection totally is not Santino and shows that the only growth he may have accomplished was too totally kill his creative side. I thought his collection was possibly the worst of the three. I don’t think they were hideous, just not that interesting, especially coming from Santino. He reigned it in too much.

But, in this context, isn’t that a distinction without a difference?

If you “talk smack” and play “mind games” with people specifically to make them uncomfortable and get them upset so you can benefit in the contest, it seems to me that is effectively no different from if you actually mean everything you say about them.

Whether Santino’s insults were made in honesty, or as gamemanship, doesn’t change the fact that they were made and were offensive.

I think there is a big difference. During bowling league the different teams do a lot of trash talking; but in the end we all know it’s just talk. Listen to any pickup basketball game. It’s part of the game.

Heh, no. There is very good, creative, stylishSantino, as well as wretchedly, comically bad Santino. Instead the show seemed to be Sanitized Santino. We’ll see how it turns out.
