I’m almost certain to be there tonight. I’ve got some errands to run between work and trivia, but they should not run long. Then again, I’m leaving myself an out since I’ve got a problem with misestimating time. I won’t commit to when I’ll arrive, though it will probably be before 7.

Now tomorrow, make sure the surgeon doesn’t touch the sides with the tweezers and you’ll be fine. I’ve also found removing the battery keeps your nose from lighting up even if there is a small accident. 
Barring unforeseen circumstances, I will be there tonight. And I’ll bring cash this time, too. 
And . . . we won! We had to split into two teams, being 6ish, and Cervaise and AqueChick and I, as Smurfs on a Plane, beat the other usual suspects by the wonted 1 point.
It was John’s last night; next week I’m up again. If any of you guys are NOT gonna be there next week, let me know; it’s nice to have feedback when I’m writing the questions.

My apologies to all: I forgot I was going to DC this week. So that’s where I am now; I was on a plane yesterday and couldn’t post. Hope everything went all right.
Congrats to lissener for running a much more polished quiz night last night.
No congrats for running a quiz in which our team came in frickin’ second. Grumble grumble.
We lost by one point. And one question we got wrong involved Canada. If you’d like to feel guilty about that, go right ahead.
Also, lissener did a bang-up job last night as host. I think, more than anything else, being comfortable behind the mic makes for a successful quiz, and you really settled into that well. (Also, good questions, even that horribly difficult stamp round.)
