I was born in Atlanta, GA; the antipodeal point is in the Indian Ocean, as it is for most of the contiguous USA. The nearest land is Australia, which I haven’t visited, but Bali, in Indonesia, is not much farther away and I’ve been there.

That is extremely cool-- I have been pretty close to my antipodeal point. The nearest major city is Perth, Australia, where I have been, at 11,600-odd miles from the place of my birth (New Jersey). I didn’t realize I’d been that far, literally on the opposite side of the world.
