Not all ABC affiliates showed it. Some probably will be showing sometime later, possibly late night this week.
Oh, then maybe we didn’t miss it. Can someone check to see if it was on?
The ABC affiliate in Albuquerque showed it, and you can watch the full episode on ABC’s website.
Somebody remind me who Randy is. I see he is credited for an episode a while back, but I’m drawing a blank.
The taxidermist, played by David Arquette. Originally appeared in “Frescorts”, the episode about the “professional friend service.” Randy was the roommate of Joe, the dead guy in the episode.
I was able to watch Saturday’s episode last night. No Olive song, which is always disappointing, but it’s cool to have an Emerson episode, with some nice background about Penny. Especially Lil’ Emerson, already pimped out in a fly suit.
I really didn’t like Chuck’s hair, but fortunately it didn’t interfere with the rest of her. Oh my God, those eyes…I’ll be in my bunk.
The casting for Lil’ Emerson was inspired. That kid had his mannerisms down cold. I especially liked the subtle little half-smirk as he got pulled back into the Principal’s Office.
What was up with Chuck’s hair, anyway? I could’ve sworn that was a wig.
Seriously? I believe the correct question is HOW COULD ABC HAVE EVER AIRED SOMETHING THIS WEIRD IN THE FIRST PLACE??? I mean, look at it. Magic (stage and actual), day-glo sets, outrageous character names, absurd plots, and a rapid fire pace that offers not a second to catch your breath. I think the show is fantastic, but it is so far away from what American TV looks like – even good, strange American TV – I shake my head every episode at how implausible the set of circumstances were that brought this to air.

Almost makes me want to sing “Camelot”…
Don’t let it be forgot
that once there was a spot
for one brief shining moment
that was known as Camelot.
Or Papen County, as the case may be.
Fair point. Kudos to them for that. I am really sad that there’s only one more to go.
Stay where you are. I am gathering the townsfolk and arming them with pitchforks and axes and such. We have to get the stake, the faggots, and the gunpowder ready, so it’ll be about an hour before we come get you.
Okay, I caught the episode I missed last week, Water and Power. Simone is back! Mennonite lawyers who cannot lie…hee hee hee. Glow in the dark flowers, and a brief glimpse of Penny, and a kiss that made Olive swoon.
Chuck and Ned curled up in the trunk of Lila’s car made me go ! That was a terrible risk.
Tonight at 10pm on the Rat Bastard Network–ahem, ABC-- is the last episode of this darling quirky show. Don’t forget! After today there is no more pie.
They’ve been doing that TOO CLOSE! stuff all along. I have to slip myself a xanax before the show.
Tonight! DVR is set to record! I’ll watch it tomorrow and cry and cry…
I shall be quite cross if the last scene in the series is of Ned accidentally touching Chuck. If she immediately drops dead, it will be depressing as all get-out. If she doesn’t drop dead, then we’ll never know why the rules have suddenly changed.
So most of the episode I had a beautiful picture to enjoy the wonderful colors of this show, then the last few minutes it starts doing that digital pixelating thing and skipping and then going black. Why, og, why?!
An excellent finale.
[sniff]
It was fun while it lasted.
I wasn’t able to see it, can someone spoil it for me?
Awwww…that was so great! I was jumping around on the couch afterwards! :)
Simple and lovely. RIP.
