I didn’t watch it. I didn’t want it to be over. Instead, I taped it and I’ll watch it today.
Damn you to hell, ABC.

I feel the same way about Will Farrell, but will probably see the movie anyway when it gets to HBO because Anna is in it.
Quick Ned! touch the show, touch the show!!!
But then an ABC executive would die!
…or “According to Jim” would die.
:sniff: I’m glad the aunts know that Charlotteis alive. And Yay for Penny finding Emerson!
I need to watch it again. But I liked the wrap up very much. So sad, I am out of shows again. All of mine were killed.
It reminded me of the final episode of The Wonder Years. The producers obviously had another season’s worth of story ideas they wanted to explore/resolve, but they had to cram them all into a final-scene voiceover.
Too bad. Pushing Daisies obviously had the creative chops to go on for a long time.
There is going to be a 12-issue comic book series that will wrap up the fathers’ storyline, with the pocketwatches, etc.
I’m such a sap. I cried for about 3 minutes at the end (our DVR didn’t record it! We had to watch online.)…partly because the show was over and partly because of the look on Ellen Greene’s face when Chuck was at the door.
And this would be bad because…?..
And it would probably be less painful than the kind of death an awful lot of Pushing Daisies fans would inflict on said exec.
Just perfect. I love you. Just thought you’d like to know.
Wendie Malick and Nora Dunn, jeez Louise, they’re attracting good talent. I wish there were some way Chuck and Ned could have found the loophole to touch, but I’m glad Emerson found his daughter and the aunties know Chuck is alive. The Intrepid Cow, indeed.
ABC is the Rat Bastard Network.
Alas, Pushing Daisies, we hardly knew ye.
It was pretty clear to me that the last 2-3 minutes, starting with the scene in Ned’s kitchen, was what they went back to shoot when the producers learned that the show had been cancelled. Mostly, I was happy to see Chuck reunited with her aunts. No, we didn’t get to see her (and Ned) try to explain it to them…but we really didn’t need to.
I didn’t get to watch it until last night (Sunday night), due to being out of town on Saturday night…but I then followed it up by watching Kristin Chenoweth in a re-make of “The Music Man” on Ovation. Mmmmm, Little Bitty…
Anyone think the Aunties will be more than pissed at Ned (and possibly Olive) for hiding that Chuck has been alive all this time?
I wonder if Emerson will propose to Simone? Oh, I would love to see that scene!
I’ve liked Chuck and Ned since the beginning. Since they were little kids playing stompy-monster together. BUt I was really ticked off at Chuck’s “I don’t know if I want to be with you!” rant after poor Ned did essentially what she asked. And poor Ned at the end, “I’ve always tried to be a good boyfriend and put your wants and needs ahead of mine.” Chuck doesn’t do that for Ned. I guess I want Ned to be my Pieman.

Yeah, that was a WTF moment for me. Chickie, you’re supposed to be dead. If you want to spend quality time with the Aunties (and who wouldn’t?) then come forward and be prepared to do some heavy explaining. Otherwise, accept the fact they’re going to move on eventually.
I wonder who replaced Olive when she opened her own restaurant?
I recorded all three of the burn-off episodes so that I could watch them in a row.
Due to what I can best describe as ATHENA HATING ME, the DVR thingie has deleted all three of them before I watched any of them.
I’m afraid this leaves me with no choice but to go on a killing spree.
We have the last one still. I suspect the entire season will be available shortly.
Come to think of it, I think you can watch the last two or three online on ABC’s website.
Skald - Do you want me to burn them for you? It would be a real sacrifice to have to sit through them again, but I’d do it for you, because you make me smile (when I’m not cowering in abject terror). They wouldn’t be all that great - I’d have to manually forward the commercials, for example, but at least you’d have a copy.

Thanks for the offer. Cinderella the Rhymer is going to do it for me. She already has a mysteriously-obtained copy of Star Trek on DVD, so I have no doubt she’ll come through.
