"Put some clothes on, Britney"

HASTUR said:

To which I provided three citations indicating postitive reviews of Christina’s singing ability, and three citations indicating negative reviews of Britney’s singing ability.

I then said "“Whether a person likes how someone sings (or what they sing) is a subjective assessment.”

To which HASTUR now says:

A. You didn’t ask a question (until you got to the “on another note” part of your post, clearly indicating a new topic). I take no blame for failing to answer a question you failed to ask.

B. It provides not one, not two, but SIX cites for the exact premis you posted (“A cite would be nice to prove either can sing.”). Can you not read?

C. “Wrong,” as a response is useless, especially in response to the statment “whether a person likes how someone sings is a subjective assessment,” since liking (i.e., opinion), without more, is always subjective.

Some people have the natural ability to sing, just like some people have the natural ability to paint or play baseball or write poetry. Some people don’t. If you disagree with this, you’ll have to be a little clearer about what, precisely, you’re disagreeing with, since I frankly do not know.

But, with your head so far up your ass, is that really such a surprise?

Wrong. And it doesn’t answer the question or provide a cite.

But, with your head full of shallow bubblegum pop, is that really such a surprise?

I have this image of some big R&D room at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, filled with the finest minds of our, or any other, time, all with brows furrowed, unlocking the most elegant secrets of applied technology. Then someone walks in, and holds a stereo over his head Say Anything-style, blasting “Genie in a Bottle”, and all the scientists in the whole place immediately lose all comprehension of higher math, and start grunting and banging on delicate electronic equipment with their hex wrenches.

Bubblegum pop. Fear it.

maybe thats what all those porn popups show…
