My first sex-related query (barring that failed thread about forcible rape.) We know that a man’s erect penis points or curves at least 45 degrees upward when the man is standing. A woman’s vagina, on the other hand, slants inwards between 45 and 75 degrees when she’s upright. Therefore when in congress in the rear entry position, a woman’s vagina is slanting upward 15 to 45 degrees, forcing the man’s penis to lower almost level. This is an unnatural posture for the man’s tool, and likely bears against the woman’s insides very differently from the more common missionary.
My first question: What causes the rear-entry position to be pleasurable (for some women at least)? Does it have something to do with the penis’ angle-of-attack against things like the g-spot, or the cervix, or some other?
Second: aside from adjusting the vagina’s elevation (by spreading her knees on the bed) in what other way would the woman adjust herself to maximize pleasure?
Last: what should a man do in the way of working just his penis to pleasure his partner most? Exclude related actions like breast fonddling, massage the clit, spanking, etc.
If A, B are two points on a line a, and A’ is a point on the same or on another line a’ then it is always possible to find a point B’ on a given side of the line a’ such that AB and A’B’ are congruent. If a segment A’B’ and a segment A"B" are congruent to the same segment AB, then segments A’B’ and A"B" are congruent to each other. On a line a, let AB and BC be two segments which, except for B, have no points in common. Furthermore, on the same or another line a’, let A’B’ and B’C’ be two segments which, except for B’, have no points in common. In that case if AB≈A’B’ and BC≈B’C’, then AC≈A’C’. If ∠ABC is an angle and if B’C’ is a ray, then there is exactly one ray B’A’ on each “side” of line B’C’ such that ∠A’B’C’≅∠ABC. Furthermore, every angle is congruent to itself. If for two triangles ABC and A’B’C’ the congruences AB≈A’B’, AC≈A’C’ and ∠BAC ≈ ∠B’A’C’ are valid, then the congruence ∠ABC ≈ ∠A’B’C’ is also satisfied.
There is the memorable, igNobel prize winning study of human coitus inside of an MRI scanner. Sadly, the research has not investigated any coitus other than missionary - mostly due to the cramped space inside the scanner. Best quote from the article:
From what I hear, some women like it because it allows for deep penetration. Since that’s never been an issue for me, and actually the opposite is often an issue (getting stabbed in the cervix HURTS and not in a good way), I don’t like it.
standingwave, I feel like you’re making this oddly complicated. Not everyone finds math sexy.
If for two triangles ABC and A'B'C' the congruences AB≈A'B', AC≈A'C' and ∠BAC ≈ ∠B'A'C' are valid, then the congruence ∠ABC ≈ ∠A'B'C' is also satisfied.
It is my wife’s preference. My personal theory is that it brings more pressure to bear on the interior body of the clitoris. As the woman’s body is bent at the waist, the entrance to the vagina tightens (at least in my personal experience.)
All of the above. It also lends the option for the woman to arch her back or tilt her pelvis lending more control to the experience.
See above re: back arching and pelvis tilting. Making circular motions with the hips can also help. A woman may also choose to press back against the man and control depth and speed as well.
Varying speeds can built a climax as well as varying depth. Two or three slow, shallow pumps followed by a deep trust can work well. As stated above, don’t pound your partner’s cervix. It does indeed hurt (unless of course she’s into that
Most importantly, pay attention to your partner’s cues of pleasure. If you do something pleasurable, keep doing it. And don’t be afraid to ask what works for her.
Hint: If she pulls away, it doesn’t feel good. Pulling away is not a cue for you to pursue the current target harder, it will only lead to a comic chase around the bed, if not the entire room. If she likes it she will let you know by moving closer on her own.
Not necessarily for the OP, but it’s amazing how many men don’t seem to grok that.
deeper penetration, greater g-spot friction, more freedom of movement
pillows under the arms or stomach to further adjust the angle of penetration, bracing against the wall or headboard to keep from being, well, flattened, or thrown off balance
whatever she tells/asks him to! nothing in particular I can think of, other than being aware of a the difference in angle to prevent slipping out, and remembering the deeper penetration aspect(IOW he might not be able to go all the way in without hurting her.)
I’m not even clear what question standingwave was attempting to answer. The geometry of this problem all seems too straightforward to justify that post, and I’m not sure what the triangles are supposed to be.
