Isn’t the correct title “Girls Just Want to Have Lunch”, like Weird Al sang it?

Or is that “The Ladies Who Lunch” by Sondheim?

I always thought of “lunch” as a noun and not a verb, y’know?

Can’t it also be an adjective, as in “lunch meats”?

If you get together with others to eat a noon meal, would that be a “lunch meet”?

With the right language gymnastics, could you justify, “I’ll meat you tomorrow,” as a proper sentence?
