Questions Only thread

What’s going on here? What are you all looking at? Am I the only one who doesn’t see anything?

What did I miss?

Why are you assuming you missed anything?

Well, it’s not an unreasonable assumption, is it?

Is a miss truly as good as a mile?

Do you mean a country mile or a regular mile?

How about as the crow flies?

Won’t somebody think of the nautical miles?

How about Miles O’Brien (either one)?

Did you know the Starfleet one’s middle name was Edward?

Yes, and did you know that the journalist one doesn’t have a middle name?

What do people do for names in metric countries – Kilometers O’Brien?

Wouldn’t that just get shortened to “K”?

But wouldn’t people assume it meant “kilograms” instead of “kilometers” – especially if O’Brien had some extra heft to him?

Would he have to be refitted for a spacesuit?

Aren’t spacesuits custom-made anyway?

Wouldn’t they have to be?

So couldn’t they make a new one, if Kilograms O’Brien gains some weight?

In space, how would they know if he gained weight?

Didn’t gravity work on all those Star Trek spacecraft?
