Wouldn’t that require a separate Answers Only thread?
And is there not in fact a current thread by that very name?
I just answered Q_M’s, didn’t I, Cardigan?
Was that an answer or more of a guess?
Can’t a guess be a pretty good answer, especially if (a) it’s right and (b) no one else comes up with anything better?
Who said anything about good answers?
Or better?
As Jimmy Carter wrote, Why Not the Best?
Are we bringing Jimmy Carter into this to deflect attention away from the fact that ‘fourteen’ was really a guess rather than an actual answer?
And was it peanuts or jellybeans that Carter was so fond of?
Cardigan, no one came up with a better answer, did they? So wasn’t it a guess that functions as an answer, especially as Q_M hasn’t returned to say I’m wrong?
And Legend, don’t you remember that Carter was a peanut farmer (and presumably liked them), while his successor Ronald Reagan really liked jellybean (and even had jars of them in the Oval Office and on the Cabinet Room table)?
How many questions are we allowed per post?
Fourteen?
Again, how long are we going to allow this sort of flagrant violation of thread norms to go on?
I dunno, how much time you got?
How much do you need?
And speaking of Carter, what really happened with that rabbit?
Did you know that the President’s own staff initially didn’t believe him?: Jimmy Carter rabbit incident - Wikipedia
Didn’t that rabbit previously appear in Monty Python and the Holy Grail?
Or was that a stunt double?
