Hah! Too late! I made the mistake of telling my husband about rosie’s present and was instructed to save the link to favorites. He thinks it’s pretty cool. We also have a lot of vinyl that we never play now because we don’t have a turntable anymore.
So, the prime rib roast beast has been picked up, I took the kids to the store so they could buy presents, and I picked up our last minute grocery items. Way too much money spent again. I just about gagged when I paid for the roast, but I was expecting it to cost that much. I guess I was just really, really, really hoping that I’d be wrong.
Now, I need to get back on the cleaning band wagon. Blech. I really, really don’t even feel like it, but those damn carpets really need to be cleaned. I tell you what, if I ever move again, all high traffic areas will be hard wood floors, no ifs, ands, or buts about it.
I’m here in body but that’s about all. I don’t have The Sick, I have that infamous partner disease, The Tired. 'im indoors snores. Very badly. I can’t sleep. Spent half the night on the sofa but that didn’t help much, so today’s fun-packed day of studying may have to be put off. Bah.
Anyway, I’m in and out for the next couple of days so:
Good morning. I haven’t slept all night, and I have kibble in my sock. It’s coffee, then church, then work. Hopefully, I can get a nap in before midnight mass.
We got to Orlando about 9:30 last night - the trip took about 16 freekin’ hours - ick! For unknown reasons, in South Carolina, traffic would just stop. But we’re here, so there’s that.
Just wanted to let you all know, since I’m sure you were worrying… I probably won’t be able to post again till we get back to Merrylande, but I’ll be with you in spirit.
It’s listed in the handy dandy glossary to the SDMB in ATMB. Basically it’s a place where we can post all our random MPSIMS without cluttering up MPSIMS all week long.
