Quick question about "Lost"

I’m a few episodes into the second-season boxed set (hoping to get caught up by the time season 3 starts), and I’ve been reading the corresponding threads as I go along. I’ve gotten to a thread where someone was tallying the instances of pre-crash connections between characters, and there’s one that I honestly don’t remember happening. This person says Sawyer “romanced” the girl who sold Hurley his winning Lotto ticket.

When did this happen? It would have been in season 1, I think, or maybe the relevant episode in season 2.

Season 1. Outlaws.

In the beginning of the flasback sequence, Sawyer comes back to his hotel room with the woman in question. Finds Hibbs there. Tells woman to leave. Hibbs proceeds to give Sawyer info on the real Sawyer in Australia which results in Sawyer shooting the guy.

Okay, thank you!

Note: the guy in Australia was not, apparently, the “real Sawyer”; he was someone who owed Hibbs money, and Hibbs had conned Sawyer into murdering the poor guy.

Since we’re on the subject – I’ve been debating whether to buy the Season Two box set. Are there any really good extras?

Well, given that there are only forty-odd people on the island, the number of extras is pretty limited…

There was a review in a recent Entertainment Weekly magazine, which said the extras were worth it, along with the fun of watching the season from start to finish without waiting for weeks between new episodes.

More specifically…

She’s not who sold Hurley the ticket; she’s the woman on the lottery broadcast who shows the winning numbers.

That’s Brittany Perrineau, btw; the wife of Harold Perrineau (Michael) IRL.
