I’m The Greatest Star, from Funny Girl. “Hey Mr. Feeney, here I am!”
I don’t care.
It’s alternating between,
The Smiths - “How soon is now”
And
The Decemberists - “Severed”
I’ve been hearing this song all day because of another thread. This song makes me happy: Good Morning, Starshine — by Oliver.
*Good morning starshine, the earth says hello
You twinkle above us
We twinkle below
Good morning starshine, you lead us along
My love and me as we sing
Our early morning singing song
*
A Taste of Honey – Herb Alpert & The TJB
While I’m scanning the thread titles, Disturbed - The Sound Of Silence has been planted in my brain, and still remains.
Watched Tully last night. One scene had a medley of Cyndi Lauper songs. Started with Money Changes Everything. So I have that going now. (I kept wanting the characters to stop talking during the song. Sheesh, I listening here.)
I love the long drawn out “Moneeeeeeey” in this song. Plus the Melodica.
The other Lauper songs were very short clips. Sometimes only a couple seconds. Eggh.
“Hush”, by Deep Purple. I was listening to it earlier.
Naaaaa na-na naaaa na-na naaaa na-na naaaaaaaaaa.
The Revivalists - “Wish I Knew You”
Pet Shop Boys – “What Have I Done To Deserve This?”
You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown (Broadway Cast)
I’ve been listening to Sara Bareilles’s luminous “She Used To Be Mine” over and over for the past couple of days: Sara Bareilles - She Used To Be Mine (Official Video) - YouTube
They Might Be Giants-Shoehorn With Teeth.
“Africa” - Toto.
I blame the wife.
My current earworm is …, um, well …
I don’t know the name of the song or the group. Grrr.
Anyway, it’s from the season 5 finale of Letterkenny “Bock et Biche”*. It plays during the first fight scene. I’ve been able to find out about two other songs in that episode, but not this one. Googling lyrics doesn’t give me anything.
So no YouTube link for it or anything.
- A particularly fine episode, IMHO.
Hugh Masekela’s “Grazing in the Grass.”
I’ve only been able to watch the first two seasons of LK (Because that’s all Hulu offers). I have to say, I’m quite fond of a LOT of the tracks LK puts out. I’m going to have to do some digging to find out who some of these bands are so I can add them to my Pandora.
“You don’t have to call me darlin’, darlin’,
You don’t even call me by my name…”
David Allen Coe.
I don’t know why this song is stuck in my head. Don’t own it, haven’t heard it in years. Exactly the earworm for me. Non-sensical.
