Quick, what's your current earworm?

70s Chicago
Motown
And a few songs by Lynyrd Skynyrd, Van Halen, Peter Banks

Can’t get Bad Habit, by Imelda May, out of my head.

Went for a walk and what did I see
A pair of Louboutins looking back at me

“Think”, the Jeopardy! theme song.

On account of I watched the show a couple of hours ago.

mmm

I can actually answer the OP question. Usually when I read the thread title, what’s humming in my head turns off and I can’t remember what it was.

This time: It’s Raining Men.

The jukebox in my mind is nearly always playing something. Today, inexplicably and without any known provocation, it began playing “They Call the Wind Mariah,” the Kingston Trio’s version. I love that song, but I haven’t heard it or thought about it in years, and I have no idea what suddenly brought it to my mind. I enjoyed it, though.

The aria ‘que faro senza Eurydice’ on account of me opening the cupboard and seeing a jar of farro in there.

I’ve been on a Danny Says by the Ramones kick lately. (There’s a recent Idaho connection that brought it back to mind.) I checked to see if anyone has listed it here yet.

I did.

Back in Sept. 2018.

Oh.

I also just posted in the Barbara Feldon thread. So Get Smart is still on my mind, too.

I watched the Woodstock documentary about a week ago, and this is the song that stuck:

Aha! I blame the April minirants - It’s Raining Rants.

Right now, I’ve been listening to Casual Sex by My Darkest Days over and over again, both through my music app and through my brain.

You have my sympathy. (Hate, hate, hate that music!)
My earworm is almost always the opening riff from Toots and the Maytals “Pressure Drop”. Good thing I like it.

“Hallelujah” by Leonard Cohen. I watched a video last week and it’s been stuck in my head.

I apologize if Ren has already been posted. Too many posts to read through. But I’ve been kind of obsessed with these two songs and can’t get them out of my head. He’s really talented and these songs are so relatable. His story is really compelling too. He spent 10 years almost bedridden with undiagnosed lyme disease. Hi Ren is him spilling his soul about his experiences. If you aren’t moved, then something is wrong with you. He is a great YouTube deep dive. Lots of great performances.

Ren - Hi Ren (live performace)

Ren X Chinchilla (live performance) - Chalk Outlines

It backfired on me: I dropped THIS into the 4/20 thread and now it’s stuck in my head.

Amelia Ford- “Ivory and Ebony”
Just my groove, some algorithm found me. I like a folkish, singer, songwriter, with that 90’s groove. Not sure of the lyrics, been trying to decipher them, and post the lyrics online for all to see (hear).

Been trying to come on course. Life is Verfruenzt. I was searching for something that spoke to me. Many people left behind here, “do what your love tells you”.

For reasons I’m not completely sure of, You Call Me a Bitch Like It’s a Bad Thing by Halestorm

“Sorry, you can’t embed media items in a post” - well, this is news…

Chicago - Takin’ It On Uptown

WITCH - Witch
I was submerged in wiccan culture and it speaks to me.

use me, haunt me by iamjakehill

I listen to it a lot, but even when I’m not listening to it, the chorus keeps running through my head.
