Was on a cruise last week and they played, “The Girl from Ipanema”. It’s still stuck in my head!
Theres a few but if i had to pick one probably white ball from miracle music.
My wife and I went to Columbia, SC for a wedding last week and our hotel just happened to be less than a block away from their pride parade on Friday night. There was also a DJ playing some tunes and I was surprised to hear All The Small Things by Blink-182 play. I’m not the biggest fan of the band though I like them OK but I did dance around to it while waving an LGBT flag. My wife has video to prove it. 
Since then, the song has been in my head.

Oh, now I remember why. It’s because the other day I was out in the country and stopped at a flower farm and they had an old John Deere tractor sitting in the field.

Manhã de Carnival, music written by Luiz Bonfá and lyrics by Antônio Maria, first appeared in the 1959 Brazilian film Black Orpheus (Orpheu Negro). If memory serves, in the film it was performed by a male character, but the version that has been running in my ear all day is recording by Elizete Cardoso which seems to be the version on the official soundtrack album. I’ve listened to it a hundred times but before I listened to it this morning it had been a few years since the last time, I think.
The Night Before - The Beatles. It’s one of their songs that you don’t hear very often. I love it!
Today it’s been “Incense and Peppermints” by 1967 one-hit wonder Strawberry Alarm Clock. It was a Billboard #1 song.
They were a “group” in name only. Like several “groups” back then, they were studio musicians who struck gold with one song and then disappeared, though I do remember they had a follow-up (“Barefoot in Baltimore”) that went nowhere. The vocalist was just some guy visiting the studio who filled in when the original vocalist didn’t work out. And did a great job too!
It’s a good tune from that era. A pleasant, nostalgic play on my mind’s jukebox.
I recently bought a certain brand of powedred cleanser at the store and now I can’t get this song out of my brain.
