Quick XP question

This morning, before coffee, I started my computer and managed to change a setting inadvertently. I minimized the text size on the frames - not on the web pages themselves, but just on the address bar, the tabs, and the lower frame.

I have no idea what I did and I can’t figure out how to fix it. Any help?

Again, this is not the standard text size menu on the “Page” dropdown.

Is this just on your Web browser or all programs?

What Web browser do you use? Internet Explorer or Firefox or something else?

I’m using IE, but I just noticed that the text in my start menu is minimized as well, so I don’t think it is a browser issue. I opened Word and typed some random text and it was normal.

It sounds like the reverse of maxing all the text for people with vision problems. I went
Start
Control panel
Accessibility
Config windows to work…

There’s a place you can choose what font size.

Hope it helps.

Go to your desktop and right-click on it (not on an icon, in the empty space on your desktop) and choose “Properties.”

Go to the “Appearance” tab and see if changing the font size there (Normal, Large, Extra Large) gets you back to where you want. If not, click on the “Advanced…” button and use the drop down menu to choose different items and play with their font size. I think the normal size is Tahoma 8pt.

Lamar,
Right-click on your desktop and select “Properties” from the pop-up menu. Click on the “Appearance” tab and then the “Advanced” button. Change the “Item” field to “Active Title Bar”. You should see something like this. Try the settings shown and see if that helps. If it doesn’t fix all the problems, you might also try playing with the “Windows and buttons” options on the “Appearance” tab or the options on the “Themes” tab.

(Thanks for the help with the Hawthorn.)

Thanks all. It is fixed now. I managed to change the font size in the title bar, as was suggested.

I have no idea how I managed to do that without trying this morning!
