My sympathies. I hate resume writing SO much, especially as my jobs have been varied and widespread; I literally can’t remember actual dates and such. So of course I save my resumes…but…could not find and old one anywhere!! :smack:
Luckily today I scoured my email and voila, an old one sent out about 4 years ago, the last time I was looking. So I am updating that, though even updating just my last job is a chore, since the ‘job’ was really about a dozen jobs rolled into one, all of them endemic to that particular workplace, with no real value to another industry. It’s…interesting.

Here’s to hoping YOU find a shortcut soon

You will be pleased to know that I haven’t eviscerated any coworkers… yet.

And on that note, back into the fray.

I’m not in the market for a new truck, and I haven’t touched a firearm since somewhere roughly around being a Webelo.

It just seemed like such an odd thing to advertise in the early morning news.

Conference call. Blurf.

The day’s still young.

Home. No evisceration happened today. But tomorrow’s another day!

I was gonna do sketties for supper, but I have no sauce, so I’m taking a pasta-roni and jazzing it up with chikie strips and veggies. Quick and easy and semi-healthy. Mostly, easy. I’s tahred. I’ve been up since 3:30… again… I’m thinking tonight is a melatonin night.

I no longer have the urge to eviscerate at the irkplace since Hosebeast is gone. Speakin’ of which, nary a peep since my report last week. YAY!!!

It looks rainyish out. Maybe soon I hope. The older gentleman I usually give a ride to on men’s night called (actually his daughter called) and said he will not be goin’ tonight. He had three doctor’s appointments today and is just worn out. That’s enough to wear anybody out especially if one is ninety years old.

On to other things.

Supper has been ingested - it got done earlier than I’d intended, so we went ahead and ate. It wasn’t bad, but I need to get fixins for sketty sauce.

We signed the contract with our boat broker - he thinks we should be able to sell it this fall. We shall see how that goes. In a perfect world, it’ll sell before January so we don’t have to worry about renewing our slip contract. Which reminds me - I need to notify our insurance company that the boat is out of the water at a different marina.

tahred… dunno if I can last the evening…

Take the men’s night to him  Ok, so he probably is really THAT worn out, where he probably doesn’t want visitors, but it sounds sweet

My hands are still burning from the hapa-len-yos. Doing dishes is a TREAT when even the coolest water feels like it’s burning, argh!! Sure hope this wears off before MrTao leaves for his trip; would like to get some snuggling in, but not at the expense of painful extremeties. :stuck_out_tongue:

I’ve heard that drinking milk after eating hot peppers is soothing - have you tried soaking your hands in milk? I don’t do hot peppers, so I can’t help you with real advice.

how about Tigger?
So two cool things happened today
At work I received an invite to a fancy schmancy luncheon for 30+ year employees. 'bout time they did that, today is my 31st anniversary with them.
AND
I got a call from Sweet Adelines HQ. I’d made a donation to support the webcast of the International Competition - I’d have done it anyway, but there was a bonus if you did by 9/15 - one lucky contributor wins an Apple iPad.
I’ll give you three guesses who won, and the first two don’t count.

At the laundromat. Then home for dog walsk and dinner. I’ve had 3 confrence calls, and a six hour meeting in the last 8 days. I have another meeting tomorrow, during my truck. I wanna eviscerate someone.

Yay! rosie!

Tao, a little tingle ain’t so bad.

So, I was thinking about this two-piece for the luncheon. What say y’all?

eta - in Cranberry, and maybe the earrings on the purple model as well.

eata - better view of the earrings

Cute Rosie!

I got four more bookmarks designed. I have two more quotes to do. I put them up on my site if anybody wants to see them (the link is in the sig).

Nice outfit, rosie!

Today I am over in Daly City at the final hotel on this trip. My flight home is tomorrow evening and I will be back in the UK on Wednesday morning but for various reasons, I won’t actually be home until Thursday. First job when I get back is to fetch the fuzzbutts back from feline holiday camp, and then bribe them with treats to get back on their good side.

:stuck_out_tongue:

I actually didn’t get anymore done today but I’ll start again tomorrow.

Nice outfit, rosie, and congrats on the iPad!

Evening! Up at 3.30 to catch a 5.30am flight. It seemed a good idea at the time but not so much in practice. I am tah-red.

Yay Rosie!

Blurf.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. YAWN 'Tis 72 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of only 83. BRRRRR! There is rain in the area but none at da cave as I post.

Rosie yay for the fancy schmansy luncheon and the ipad! That outfit looks good. Of course a tubetop and stretchpants would work as well.

Tao we have roadtripped men’s night from time to time. Last time was to a church member’s house who had had surgery, was feelin’ better but still couldn’t drive. 'Twas fun.

Now I need more caffiene and should feed rumbly tummy. Then, alas, irk purtification must commence. I need to get in gear because before I go into irk I am takin’ twuck in for an oil change. If I get there before seven thirty when they open, I should be out of there by eight.

Happy Tuesday Y’all!

**rosie **- I like the outfit but I have a beef with that, and similar, catalogs. They have it in my size but there’s no way it’d look on me the way it does on their model. I know they want to show their products off in the best light, but some of us lack the imagination to visualize the clothes on a less substantial model.

I got a catalog in the mail yesterday for clothes sizes 12-28, and I swear, all the models were 6’ tall, mostly legs, size 4 on their “fat” days. Maybe it’s just me, but I can’t delude myself that I can carry off the look they show being 7" shorter and somewhat more in circumference. Can’t they use models in the middle range of their size chart? Then again, maybe they do use short, rotund models, then stretch them out with photoshop?? :stuck_out_tongue:

Sorry. Didn’t mean for my hissy fit to muss up the room… <deep clensing breath>

Cute outfit, rosie!!

Safe trip, BooFae!!

I’m gonna get to go to our lab and watch guys build cable harnesses. I’m hoping it’ll help me understand what it is I’ll be drawing in the future. For now, I’m just pestering the configuration manager with way too many questions, but she’s a good sport about it - she even sent me some photos to illustrate some stuff, so yay! But as soon as it can be arranged, I’ll get some real-world experience. Huzzah!

It rained a little overnight and with luck, we’ll get some more today. My poor hydrangeas are thirsty and if there’s no precip, I’ll be dragging out the sprinkler tonight. On the other hand, the lack of rain means I don’t have to mow the yard as often, so there’s that.

Anyway, Happy Tuesday!!!
