Been strange. Me and Her Ladyship have had to go through this odd empty nest thing. So much of our lives these last ten years were about keeping her folks as independent as possible as long as possible that when Muvver passed we suddenly had all this time we never had before. So of course we spent it and then some – church stuff, amusement parks, just bumming around. Having the most accrued vacation time I was the bigger offender. We’re cutting back on promises of time to the things we like most and getting there. But I still have a lot of time coming and I never was that good at “adulthood” so ----------
May be in and out a little yet but plan on being back regular soon.

TVCTMPO got to me today; we had a systems issue that cost me about 2 1/2 hours. Had to coordinate possible back-up stuff and make sure the right people were talking to each other to get things fixed. Extreme fun. not.

Good morning! Late into the office today, as we decided we needed Cracker Barrel for breakfast. 
Even with the 45 minute delay, we beat everyone else into our area - we’re early arrivers.
**gt **- glad to hear **LiLi **is OK, even if she doesn’t love us any more… 
In addition to our discussions about building a mini-tugboat, **FCD **mentioned that in a consignment lot near us, there are two lifeboats for sale. We’re going to take a look - we’re assuming each is essentially a hull with an engine. If that’s the case, and we find one in good shape that is trailerable, we might consider starting from that and building accommodations to suit our preferences. Just a thought. Who knows what might happen? Meanwhile, we’re waiting for the broker to tell us to come get our money.
Incidentally, the lasagna was very yum and we had enough left over to give our daughter some, plus freeze 2 more meals for the two of us. Yay for yummy leftovers!!

at Gordie’s kitty snacks. We are lucky enough to have a second bedroom, so we gated that off and its the kitty room, for their food and litter box and place to hide when they don’t want to play with Mouse. So luckily I haven’t had to deal with THAT, at least.
I have made an executive decision. There’s really nuttin’ goin’ on at the office irkwise that needs my attention. I do have electronic paperirk stuff to catch up on, however, I can do that from anywhere. Thus, the executive decision to go to da cave and do it from there. I can write casenotes etc. from there just as well in a pair of shorts and a tshirt with a nice cold beverage at hand whilst rockin’ to some tunes. So I shall.

Well, I’ve been to water aerobics already this morning. I came back and showered and now I’m in drip dry mode before getting ready to go grocery shopping and to have some blood work done.
After all that fun I’ll be coming back home to [del]crash[/del] start working on a few things for tomorrow’s show.
Blurf. Did NOT want to get out of bed today. The fact that at some point I turned off my alarm and didn’t turn it back on didn’t help, but I was only five minutes late for work.
Well, duh, of course I did!
I had to get 2 coworkers all wound up in solving a stoopit problem I was having, but now it’s all fixed, so yay! And I know what caused it, so I won’t do *that *again!
I still have another problem and I’ve got to get them to help me figger it out. It’s all magic - making one program talk to another. No way I could be a program geek. 
Overhearing conversations here makes me realize there’s a lot of stoopit around here. Not that it’s a big surprise, but I always hope I end up among people who know how to reason. Silly me…
Howdy Y’all! I did indeed leave irk and am now all happy in da cave. I’ve gotten a bunch done. Go Me! Now I’m havin’ me a sallit and some iced tea for N.O.L. whilst I peruse the dope for a bit. Life is good.
