Now and then you’ll see a post where someone writes something and then thinks inline, “that’d be a cool band name”. There’s some pretty good band names out there. But that’s not the point here. Wondering if there’s some band or performer names that really bug you…why?
The ones off the top of my head:
Revolting Cocks (just plain revolting)
New Kids on the Block (has no “staying power”)
MC 900 Foot Jesus (huh?)
Me First and the Gimme Gimmes (love the tunes, hate the name)
Starship, Jefferson Starship, Jefferson Airplane (the whole “changing names” thing just bugs me)
Not By Choice (sounds like they sat around for too long trying to think of a “cool name for a band”)
