The “Meta” ads are not as clever as the agency people think. The one for The Voice just drove that home…
Wow, what a game so far!
I’m watching tape delayed and it’s halftime, Eagles leading 22-12.
And I’m not reading the thread until the game is over.
Wow, who could’ve predicted this? As Al and Chris just said.
To change the subject, the Tide commercials were rather innovative, but is anyone else sick to death of the Bud Light “Dilly-Dilly” commercials yet?
As for the game, we’ll see; you have to beat the Pats for 60 minutes, a fact Atlanta learned to their discomfort a year ago.
First touchdown reception by a QB in the SB?
In “The Voice” commercial, Adam Levine, Alicia Keys, and Kelly Clarkson announced themselves like they didn’t expect anyone to know what they looked like.
Yes. My wife turned to me and asked “it this something that men are supposed to like or something?” and I replied “I have no clue.” None of them made any sense to me.
My favorite commercial so far is, somewhat ironically, that other cleaner that I can’t remember the name of where the guy at the ends says “What was in those brownies!?”
I haven’t stopped pacing for three days. I might spontaneously combust, the way I feel now.
G O E A G L E S !!!
There you go… the Gronk awakens
And Lexus/Black Panther tie-in, now that was fun.
Had already seen the Anheuser-Busch “water” ad (missed the USVI, though…)
Yes.
Why does Budweiser hate the US Virgin Islands?
I am quite sure that I remember Miller running a near-identical non-superbowl ad years (like, 20) ago… Maybe after Andrew?
Yeah, right. If you think you’ve been treating me like everybody else, you’re either lying or deluded. Irrelevant, anyway. You’ve been warned.
Then you didn’t miss the phantom OPI call against Decker…or the phantom false start against the Titans…or the false start they called against the Pats that they reversed into an offsides against Tennessee. How many times have you ever seen that last? For me, exactly once, and I’ve watched football for near on a half-century.
And you didn’t miss how penalties just ‘happened’ to kill three drives in a row for the Titans.
And that was just the first half.
Doing a bit of research, I found this piece, and this one which make interesting points about the benefits the Pats seem to get from officials.
Ooooooooooo.
Maybe you’re onto something. Check out the articles I posted earlier.
No TD, dammit…
Wow, really? Clement didn’t have control before he stepped out.
Im not sure thats a catch.
golf clap
Well its a TD. Really close call though. Do not envy the refs their jobs.
Not 100% sure his left foot was in bounds, but not sure he didn’t nick the endzone either. No problem with them leaving that as a TD.
Calls always go in the Pats favor my ass.
Still, I fully expect the Pats to win this.
The Tide commercial with David Harbour (Stranger Things) was pretty funny.
