It’s been worse than normal for me this morning. Lots of slow-loading pages and 504 time-outs.
Just had a pair of 502s, first time in a few days.

I blame Jeep’s Phoenix!
I actually played with Sir Francis. Long story short ----- he got lost trying to find his way to the Poconos and stopped at the local park for directions. And spent the next two hours or so teaching us kids how to do over-the-shoulder and all kinds of stuff. This was the 70s when he was just traded back to the Vikings. Since we didn’t have a local team per se I adopted the Vikings and never left them. He was really really old (early 30s) and I was mid-teens ------ but we DID play football together.
And more on topic ------ not one message now for several days on the Airbook but I did pull one on the Mini.

All loaded OK a bit later, though.

I’m getting the errors too. Firefox on a Mac, if you need that info.
Here is what happened to me about an hour ago. I think it has happened before but not every day. I was posting something in IMHO and I clicked on Post Quick Reply and got a message, I forget the exact wording, but something like “No response from server; try again in 60 seconds”. So I did and this time it was accepted. But it turned out that it had been accepted (and there was even a response) after all and so I had a double post.
There’s a very good reason I got out of computer science/computer engineering. 
I’ve noticed some mild sluggishness this evening, but I thought it was just my connection (I’m on a hobby computer that uses an old TiVo adapter for its wireless connection).
Double posts for me a couple of times lately.
I got one yesterday morning (CST). That’s been it since December 31st.
I have seen some general sluggishness like what Jeep’s Phoenix reported. There have been a few times lately where it looks like things have hung a bit and a 504 error might pop up … but then the page loads just in time to stave off the error.
And the bout of sluggishness seem to be clustered together. Maybe a half-dozen such episodes within 30 minutes, and then smooth sailing for the rest of the day.

Why does my bloody post still offer the “edit” option but then I get a messafe saying it’s been 5 minutes? Sadism?
I still think 5 minutes is too short, we could at least increase it to 10.
Also, still getting serious delays on replies and edits, which is why we need a longer edit window.
