I have a photo showing me in a large pool. I have a photo showing me standing in front of a large country estate house. I think i have a photo somewhere showing me on the deck a 60-foot boat. I even have a photo of me standing on the front portico of Graceland.
And you know what all these photos have in common? They were taken on vacation. And i don’t own a large pool, a country estate, a 60-foot boat, or Graceland. The inference you draw from that one photo is idiotic, even by your own usually high standards for idiocy.

I’ve never seen any other conservatives use this response and I find it effective here. Maybe it’s the undercurrent of unleashed frustration, like a dam that’s broken from having to hold back too much water, or maybe it’s the oddly compelling use of linebreaks. If someone believes that military action is called for, then really they should consider volunteering to assist . Fair enough to think something is worth people dying for, rather more morally dubious though to it’s only worth other people dying for.

Could you please consider that if someone is opposed to military action, telling them they should fight for their beliefs is a little bit non-sensical. If you think one war is wrong, it’s unlike that two wars will be right.
