Reese's peanut butter cup THINS

Has anyone else had these? I find them a HUGE step up from regular peanut butter cups. Maybe the ratio of chocolate to PB is better.

Inconceivable! :frowning: :p:p

*You *may have *my *share.

Now you have to buy three times as many. The Big Cups were just about perfect.

You are Wrongy Wrongerson, Mayor of Wrongtown. I looooove RPBCs in all iterations I have ever had, except the thins, They have the perfectly dis-optimal ratio as a matter of fact, and have been cast out from my presence.

Wrong ratio on those for me. Reese’s are my favorite candy confection, and the regular ones have exactly the right ration of both. I dislike both the big cups and thin ones for getting the ratio wrong.

I like the ratios in the big cups a bit better, and Reese’s Dark is the best overall for flavor.

Just what I’ve been waiting for! Less of my favorite candy!

Actually, I think the Reese’s Easter Eggs have the best PB to chocolate ratio.

I agree mostly. The big cups are acceptable but don’t really hit the spot the way a pair of standard cups do. The thin ones are just sad.

I haven’t tried them yet. I like the ratio of chocolate and peanut butter in the minis the best - I would say more chocolate than pb. That’s what I imagine the thins would be. Next time I see the thins, I’m going for it!

Go to Trader Joe’s and get their PB cups–either milk or dark (I infinitely prefer the dark but that’s just me) and you’ll never be happy with the grainy Reese’s ever again. TJ’s even makes teensy little mini-cups about the size of chocolate chips (for which they substitute perfectly in cookies) and they’re also amazing. They’ve achieved a perfect smoothness and flavor in the filling that is mind boggling, using much higher quality chocolate than Reese’s. Mind blowing.

I just assumed this is a way to sell you less candy for the same price. Shit-hooks.

Believe it or not, it’s the grainy, almost crumbly texture of the peanut butter that makes me prefer RPBC to higher quality varieties. I know, weird. Not that I’d turn down *any *chocolate/ peanut butter confection.

The idea of thin peanut butter cups is contrary to the prime directive of candy, which is to maximize intake.

It’s the same defect that makes eating Chinese food with chopsticks untenable. Utensils that keep me from shoveling it in at an optimal rate are to be avoided.

Andy, you’re a good dude. I like you as a poster. But this preference to chocolate over Reese’s peanut butter is making me rethink how I feel about you…

The important thing to remember is that neither the original, nor these despicable thinner ones, are candy bars.

This is worse than super thin crust pizza. I wonder what the profit margin on the thins is compared to the regular. “Less of our product is better” It’s a scam AFAIAC.

Then you need these. Two cups, one pound.

I never bothered to buy any Reese’s Thins because I was sure I wouldn’t like them with less peanut butter. But then one day they were half-off at the store for the dark variety and, hey, it’s candy, so I tried them. I found them AMAZINGLY good. And ate way too many. I have a jar full of them in the kitchen right now.

Oh, the grainy peanut butter is part of the attraction - I wouldn’t like Reese’s cups without it. Couldn’t say why. There you go.

Ooh, I know this one!

NOT a candy bar!

No. Just…no.

I’ve been trying to find the ones that have Reeses’ Pieces inside them, but I they just don’t seem to be anywhere! :frowning:
