Basically.
I liked Alex Mack, Salute Your Shorts (after having seen an episode again a few years back, I’m not really sure why), Are You Afraid of the Dark, Doug, Legends of the Hidden Temple, and All That/Kenan and Kel.
Oh wow… I think I know what Mom’s getting for her birthday. Seriously. She loved that show. Ren and Stimpy was my favorite, but only the first season or so. After they got rid of John Kricfalusi I thought the show lost something.
Another one of my favorite Nick shows was “Today’s Special”. Anyone else remember that one? That might have been the 80s though.
Pinwheel, pinwheel, spinning around
Look at my pinwheel and see what I found!
That’s old school Nickelodeon!
Gotcha last!
Y’all must be naming some early ass 90 shows because I haven’t heard of most of them. Of course I may just not be remembering the titles. I enjoyed nick jr more than I did nick. Give me the old Nick @ Nite though and we would be ALL GOOD…
Wooooo, Doug and Hey Dude!
…I bet the new Ren and Stimpy episodes still ain’t ready. :smack:
Now I feel sad about my childhood. I remember YCDTOT, and Are You Afraid of The Dark but none of the rest mentioned.
Of course my brother hogged the (only) tv so…
I liked everything on 90’s Nickelodeon except for Fifteen. That one sucked, so they usually put it between Welcome Freshmen and Hey Dude or something.
Doug, Rugrats, and Rocko’s Modern Life. Thanks to reruns on Nick Canada, I’ve now seen every Rocko episode at LEAST a dozen times.
Sorry, guys, didn’t mean to make the 80s crowd feel old.
I feel you on Nick at Nite, Henessey. I remember when they showed genuinely classic sitcoms. What is it they’re showing now–George Lopez’s show?
I get that, but I gotta say, I loved “Fifteen.” So earnestly awkward and goofy, it rose through its badness to a kind of truth. For me, anyway, when I was really too old to be watching it at all.
Turkey Television.
FYI that this appears to be on “Teen Nick”, whatever that is - some offshoot channel? So Nick at Nite is presumably safe.
Yes. Here’s the Wikipedia article. It was formed when Noggin split its children’s and teen programming.
doug + rocko + pete and pete
Pretty much, heck I’ve watched her new show on ABC family and it all started back there.
This is pretty much my list the only one I’d add is Alex Mac. Are you Afraid of the Dark was never one of my favorites but the others were some of my favorites.
The only show I haven’t seen mentioned was Double Dare. It was a great game show and fun to watch people get covered in the ooze.
Happy, happy! Joy, joy!
Oh, man. Are You Afraid of the Dark scared the crap out of me as a kid - heck, the evil clown episode would still scare me. Damned clowns.
“submitted for the approval of the midnight society, i call this story…the tale of the evil clown!”
the one that always freaked me out was the prom queen one. two boys meet this chick in a graveyard and they go to solve some mystery of this dead prom queen or something and OMG the girl with them was the dead girl all along!! (duh, they met in a graveyard, but hey, i was young)
nick nick nick nick nick nick nick nick nickelodeon!
Precious Canadian goodness. On right after the 10 hour morning block of Pinwheel if I remember right. Hocus-Pocus-Alama-Gocus!
