Rejoice, children of the 90s! Old School Nickelodeon Returns, sort of!

Bring back the Rugrats!!! And I would LOVE to see “Aaahh!!! Real Monsters” again.

Or hey, you wanna go OLD school Nick, how about “Danger Mouse”?
Camp Ananwana
We hold you in our hearts
And when we think about you
It makes me wanna fart!

That was the one set in the department store where the mannequin came to life, right? I liked that show. I was also fond of “Pinwheel” and “You Can’t Do That on Television”.

For this network, I would like to see “Are You Afraid of the Dark”, “Ren & Stimpy”, “Roundhouse”, and “Clarissa Explains It All”.

It’s “I hope we never part!” Now get it right or pay the price!

I got so mad at the God-damn idiot kids who couldn’t put that fucking monkey together. It’s not that hard! Only three pieces, one piece clearly has a head, one piece clearly has feet! If you’ve watched the show even once you knew you assembled it facing away from you…what’s your fucking problem!?

I was upset I never got to be on one of those game shows…I could have kicked so much ass. I would have made that Agro-Crag my bitch and pimp-slapped Olmec in his punk-ass face.

I liked Are You Afraid Of The Dark.

I can remember watching nick when it had all of 8 hours programming and they repeated it 3 times in the 24 hour period, just like when Comedy Central started. I loved it, I was on shift work, and up all night, so I could watch the stuff all day and night, and manage to catch all the episodes instead of having to hang around waiting for them to show again some time in the summer.

What was the serial where the monsters were aliens named Wilberforce? I think it has been remade as a movie, I saw something in the middle of the night where these aliens were involved in 7 volcanos in New Zealand … and I could swear that they called the monsters wilberforces also.

The show itself didn’t actually scare me all that much, but that opening theme is STILL creepy as hell.

Also, I liked Legends, Clarissa, All That/Kenan and Kel, and Salute Your Shorts, mostly. I didn’t watch AYAOTD a whole lot (parents thought it’d be too scary and forbade it when I was real young), but there were some episodes I liked.

Yep that was it! I was not a fan of “Pinwheel”, but my sister loved it. I couldn’t stand that theme song! :shakes fist at Alan Smithee:
Was that the show with Gene and Calliope, or was that another show. I usually left the room when sister was watching.

Wasn’t there a show called Calliope? The viewing slot must have interfered with something else I liked to watch; I vividly remember the ads for the show, but I don’t think I ever watched it.

I agree! They skipped right over the 80s! While I’d be interested in seeing some 90s stuff like Clarissa Explains it All or Welcome Freshmen, I’d be much more interested in seeing You Can’t Do that on Television, Today’s Special, or early Double Dare (when it was teams of 2 kids and not families). Danger Mouse was one of my favorites too, but since I have it all on DVD, I don’t need Nickelodeon to rerun it.

That was on the USA Network.

Just wanted to revive this thread as the Teen Nick shows have been airing a while now. Thus far it’s just All That, Kenan and Kel, Clarissa Explains It All, and Doug. I’ve heard rumors they may add more and in the commercials they show clips from other shows, so who knows. I wasn’t a huge All That fan back then and Kenan and Kel was pretty painfully bad to me even as a child. But I’m loving the Clarissa and Doug.

I liked Roundhouse better than All That.
