Republicans are ALWAYS the REAL victims!

“Augustiner Time” doesn’t quite have the same ring to it.

Let’s not forget that DWTS invited Spicer to be there, knowing who he was. That was fucking stupid.

I thought that a “Star” was someone famous for being a proficient performer in the arts of singing, dancing, and/or acting (whether it be on stage, screen, radio, or television. Or YouTube). Does it now mean “someone who is famous for having been on the news”?

‘Cos that’s just stupid. Notoriety doesn’t confer stardom any more than a Franklin Mint marking on the back of a dinner plate confers “collectibility” (whatever that is).

The UK version has had a number of politicos and newsies on it, most of whom have been terrible dancers. Ed Balls’ “Gangnam Style” is seared on the national memory and there are no words to describe Ann Widdecombe’s efforts. But none of them have thrown hissyfits because the judges scored them low for their clumsy efforts; they all understood that this was purely light entertainment and that it was all in fun. Indeed, some of them got away with it for far longer than they ought to have (Ed Balls and John Sergeant in particular) by playing it to the hilt in order to endear themselves to the viewers, even as the judges continued to pan them.

Unfortunately US politicians - and particularly most of the current right wing - are far too fragile to laugh this sort of thing off.

Dancing with the Stars is accurate: a bunch of people are paired with top-notch professional dancers. The pros are the stars in the title.

I had no idea Spicer was a religious person. Is that common knowledge? Would the judges even know? All I know about him is he lied for Trump for a few months.

I do remember that he was a very devout Catholic. There was that time his boss pulled a power play out of sheer meanness and refused to let him join the entourage that was meeting the Pope.

He held back his tears and put on a brave face then. I’m sure if Trump saw him prancing around on TV in neon green ruffles and tight white pants, he would’ve been kind and supportive and given him good reviews, but Democrats are mean.

Hopefully they have learned their lesson and will not invite Sarah Huckleberry Sanders.

Guys, it’s so sad, the victimization inflicted on the Republicans. Can’t we just all get along?

Utah congressional candidate pleaded guilty to sexual battery in 2010, but says he’s the victim, ‘just like Brett Kavanaugh’

I mean, poor Brett, bullied all the way to a lifetime appointment to the Supreme Court. Poor Corey here, who plead guilty to <checks notes> four felonies this decade but is still running for Congress… Corey’s the victim. I mean… guys… apparently law enforcement, in their never-ceasing mission to ignore black crimes in favor of rich white victims… targeted Corey because of his <checks notes> conservative political beliefs.

Law enforcement! Harassing conservatives! Of course! Holy shit, this is on the news all the time! The Facebook Live videos are incredible.

Guys, this just makes me want to cry. This poor man. Think we can find the same persons who paid off Kavanaugh’s debts back in 2017 to help Poory Corey here? We Can Try!

Is dancing the tango (a sex dance) with a sexy, barely-dressed lady who is not your wife, a big Christian thing? I ask merely for information.

It’s fine if it’s for attention and money.

I thought each pair was supposed to be a professional dancer plus a TV/movie star. How many professional dancers are actual showbiz stars these days?

Thanks to Monty; I think he was the first person to note this on the Dope: Trump Identifies the Real Coronavirus Victim: His Presidency
