Republicans today are a danger to the US and the world

The call to abolish ICE is not a call for “unlimited immigration from every corner of the globe.” That is hysterical hyperbole. There are a limited number of Democrats calling to abolish ICE to replace it with something that is not so broken. ICE has been used to take draconian measures against undocumented immigrants who, other than being undocumented, have broken no laws in the U.S.

Keith Ellison is a Democrat but he does not represent mainstream Democrats. The criticisms of the Republican party here are not leveled at individuals with views on the outskirts of party policy, they are systemic problems in the party evident by their legislative and executive actions as the nominal leaders of the country.

“No person is illegal” is a slogan that criticizes dehumanizing undocumented immigrants. Even people who have been convicted of crimes and put in prison are recognized to have certain basic human rights, and most undocumented immigrants are just living their lives trying to make a living. I am not saying that justifies that they are here illegally, but they deserve to be treated like humans.

Why, oh why, do you engage with it. Stop watering it so that it can grow. Just let it dry up and fade away into obscurity.

Of course we do. It’s gotta be rock n’ roll music, if you wanna dance with me.

Like what? How would a Democrat alternative be different? You can’t just say “eliminate” things that do essential functions without laying out specifics.

He’s the fucking Vice Chair of the entire party and almost was the chair but for his anti-Semitism, and that only stopped him bc many Democrat donors, who liberals don’t properly thank, are Jewish.

It’s a deflection; its what Democrats say when they can’t bring themselves to say “I don’t care if tons of illegals come in because they’ll vote Democrat and heal our original sin of being a white majority nation.”

I don’t care if tons of immigrants come in because they’ll probably understand that the Dems are the party most interested in moving forward and they’ll probably help us do so. The GOP has a shit message in general if it centers around the primacy of white people.

Can illegal aliens vote?
:dubious:

Your attempts at reading the minds of Democrats are both laughable and false. We’re right here – if you want to know what we think, just ask.

when they get citizenship, which many do, and their kids can vote as well when they turn 18 (who the Democrats are chasing)

… then they are neither “illegal” or “alien”.

But keep fucking that chicken - she sure is horny today!

Let’s not feed the troll.

And unlike native Americans, in order to get their citizenship, they actually have to know something about the country.

But, what you are saying here, is very specifically, that after an immigrant has been naturalized, you still consider them to be “illegals”, and that their kids who are born here are also “illegals”.

What is it about this particular group of people makes you call them “illegals”, no matter their legal status?

Fucking excuse me? Check my social media posts, I have been antiTrump from the time he started running.
I do not vote ticket, I research candidates and vote according to platform.
I stay registered because I can vote in republican only pollings, so that there will be a negative vote counted. If we don’t get republicans that will vote negatively in republican restricted polling, how can we get the morons out of office?

Many illegal aliens get naturalized? Let’s pretend you are new here:

  1. Cite?
  2. Define “many”.

Good man.
I still don’t see what is wrong with single payer health care and the wealthy paying taxes.

Republicans as a whole have been deplorable for decades. Liberals need to get it through their skulls that Trump is not an aberration. I know we all wish we lived in a West Wing fantasy world, but that will never be the case. The only difference between Trump and other Republicans is that Trump is too stupid to use the right dog whistles and just shows his hand. There are no good Republicans, and these “never Trumpers” are a minority in the Republican Party and are monsters in their own right. No more reaching across the aisle. If I hear another Democrat talk about the importance of bipartisanship I will bash my head against the wall. The past ten years should of taught everyone that Republicans will never act in good faith and should be opposed at every level. Obama tried to reach across the aisle to such a degree that he was practically a 90s era Republican and he was still smeared as a commie Nazi Muslim by conservatives.

I’ve been lurking on this site for over ten years, and avoided posting due to a lack of confidence in the quality of my writing so please do not be too hard on me.

(Bolding mine)

Gotta agree with that. I think the gloves need to come off. The future of America is at stake.

Your writing is fine. Keep it up!

<looks down front of shirt> Woman :stuck_out_tongue:

Well screw you too … though how you consider someone who is anti trump, anti teapublican a monster is beyond me …

I beg your pardon.

I would like to comment on the foreign policy of the current republican administration.
Trump as a person is rude and repugnant and in a normal world he should not be POTUS, however when you have to deal with an economically treacherous tyranny like China and struggle against the cruel and gruesome drug cartels of Mexico and oppose the atrocious terrorist states of Syria and Iran and combat Islamic terrorism you need a strong uncompromising head of state that should adopt radical policies.
Many dictatorships or pseudo-democratic states instill a psychopathic ,chauvinistic, state-centered, individual-oppressing ideology on their fellow citizens through falsification of history and reality and one of those falsifications is to portray (in schools and media) the USA as a vile state independently of the nature of the incumbent US government.
That said the best would have been that a decent, nice and non fascist president (like Obama or Clinton or Reagan) implement those necessary resolutions.
