Respringing into Spring?- A MMP

Mattress set arrived at 9:30. Couch arrived at 11:15, and I wound up tipping the delivery people $40 each because it didn’t fit in the elevator and they hauled it up 4 flights of stairs. Cable guy just called to say he’s on his way. Working out so far. . .

Four flights?? I hope your elevator is reliable or that you’re in really good aerobic shape, just in case!

Just thinking about having to climb 4 flights makes my knees ache. ugh

The dude is a marketing GENIUS!!!

Your spelling was a little bit off. And I went fishing with Porter Wagoner several times and rarely did he kill anything unless he had promised his friends a fresh fish dinner. :stuck_out_tongue:

Ruble only pawn in MMP of life.

I am reminded of the episode of The Big Bang Theory in which they flashed back to how the elevator broke
eta. chizzuk, don’t do that.

I keep hearing this announcer from Wheeling Downs in the back of my head and am fighting the urge to yell “Go, Larry, Go!!! Run like the wind”.

The donated items are clean and bagged. The stinky household afghans are in the dryer. I thought about hanging them out, but chances are, before they dried, it would start raining, and I’d end up with soppy afghans and soggy me. So no.

Four packet of beef products are thawing in a big bowl of water (I love my food sealer thingie!) There are 2 pieces of chuck roast (one roast cut in half) a meatloaf, and a hunk of London Broil. I’ll use rub or bbq sauce, depending on how I feel tomorrow, then get ‘em smokin’! I thought I had a piece of brisket in the freezer too, but apparently not, dammit. Oh well…

All the windows are open, including some in the basement. It’s chilly down there!! We’ll see if it’ll come up a few degrees now.

I made a downpayment on a little chocolate yesterday. Looks like I’ll be a dog butler too before long, about 3 weeks actually.

Admitting that you have a problem is the first step.

**lieu **- AWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!

All you paying two bucks a dozen - I may need to set up a graymarket for eggs, importing them cheaply from elsewhere. I can probably sell 'em for four bucks a dozen and stil undercut the grocery store.

I also need to import Utz potato chips. DH became quite fond of their extra-dark chips. They’re available on Amazon, oddly enough, but the shipping costs just as much as the chips.

No idea why, but my neighbor across the street who used to look rather similar to this guy from 300no longer looks like that. Somewhere in the past 36 hours or so, he shaved every last bit that wasn’t eyebrows off. Boo.

Just saw a sign today at one of the Amish farms - medium eggs for $1/dz. But, like you said, shipping costs…

One more. It’s like we’re getting our own seal.

It’s cute
Lucky you
Had pizza for N.O.L.
Now I need to get busy doing some stuff around here.
Have to get ready too for heading to the armpit.

puppehs are teh kyoot.

So 'm I getting kicked? What did I do?

Mission accomplished. The Fios guy had even read the pre-appointment note I had left in their online system about how the previous tenant had seemingly tried to yank out the coax cable instead of unscrewing it, damaging one of the wall jacks beyond usability. He came prepared with extra tools to install a new one. He was also very adept at using my screwdriver to jimmy open the lock on the utility closet so I didn’t have to call maintenance to bring a key. That was a bit :dubious:.

I have some rather unpleasant things to deal with today, I keep putting them off but I need to just get it over with.
I could wait until Moonday so maybe I will.

Congrats Chizzuk on getting everything done.
Want to come help me?

I’ve accomplished very little today. Oh well. Tomorrow I’ll work harder. It’s a holiday anyway.

I had some good fries for supper. It is Good Friday, after all.

Red beans and rice, with some beef sausage for dinner.
Mrs. Plant (v.3.0) frowned at beef sausage instead of some fancy Polish stuff, and I said, “It’s Shabbes, for Christ’s Sake!”

Pesach, too come to think of it.

Awwwww.

apartment is clean, I bought a new pair of boots, and just gotta fix dinner. Beerverage time after I take Gordie out.
