I may have given the impression that Barking Spider is Serlin. No, he’s not, he’s another troll that we had thrown out three times already. No, he’s not concrete, either.
Is this 20 questions?
-
Was the troll animal vegetable or mineral?
-
Was it he who shall not be mentioned?
OMG! Barking Spider was Lord Voldemort?
Like a lingering Spider Bark could be anything butt unpleasant.
Regardless of any former identities, I love you Lynn.
So you’re admitting you were Gaudere (and Clark K) in a previous incarnation, andros?
:::: ducks and runs real fast ::::
Harrrumph.
I haven’t noticed any gigantic penis threads, so Silo’s out.
And I thought this thread was going to be about how one could return a troll they had purchased and found defective! Now what am I supposed to do with this ol’ broke down troll?
Troll or not, I still think BS is a great name. Hmmm, “The Barking Spiders”…band name?
Been used a great band even if it was a pseudonym.
ROFLMAO:D
The SDMB Administration would like to remind you that, when returning trolls, you must have a valid receipt to receive the full cash value of the troll. If you do not have a valid receipt but the troll is still in the original, upopened packaging, you may exchange him for an identical sock puppet of equal value.
There is something wrong with this thread. Somethings missing. What a minute here, I think I’ve got it!
What a facist bunch of liberal crybabies! What happend to Barking Spider’s right to free speech! It’s in the Constitution, you know. This board is redolent with PC anti-troll stench and the Mods and Admins are the highest stinkers!
There. All better.
Administration question to be overlooked in the high-fives:
I understand that you administrator-type people, when banning, can replace the default BANNED under the name with whatever. (I remember a sock some while back who was graced with “just another serlin” or somesuch.) Have you considered perhaps standardizing that? If a banned poster gets, say, SOCK under their name instead of BANNED (when that’s the case), that might do a good bit of reducing some of the “Why was Sockpuppet banned?” threads, and their ienvitable troll-feeding, especially if it’s a returning sock that evades radar for a few hundred posts.
When returning trolls, shouldn’t they be taken back to Usenet & released? There they can scamper off into the wild again, no longer a danger to themselves or others.
I would like to return my troll, but he won’t come out from under the bridge.
Lynn, why not tell us who it was?
[Marge]I don’t want
you playing with something that has such bizarre hair. Awful, awful
hair.[/Marge]
More than once, apparently.
