Revolutions in the field of mixology

Tonight I fixed myself a gin and tonic. But as I opened the fruit drawer for that piece of lime, I stood aghast. There were none left.

In a fit of anger and desperation, I sliced up a fresh orange, and squeezed a wedge of it in. Holy smokes, was it tasty! If you like G&Ts, you gotta try it.

So, what interesting (and good) drinks have you “invented”? Also, if you try the orange in the gin and tonic, tell me if you like it.

Substitute rum for vodka in a madras (oj and cran) and add a splash of 7up or ginger ale.

This was made by experimenting:
I forget what it’s called, but it’s the Captain Morgans “clear” rum.
Purple passion soda
Peppermint Schnapps.

Mix evenly. Put some ice in it too. It tastes just like sherbert ice cream.

Inspire partly by the 1920s Style Drink Thread…

Make a double screwdriver.
Add a shot of Blue Curacao.
Mix thoroughly.

I call it a Sick Screw

It may or may not have been already invented and named sometihng else. I haven’t found it yet.

But its good
