Pickle Riiiiiiiiiiiiick!
This episode had me in stitches the entire time. The premise is so absurd that in any other show it wouldn’t work, but here it was great, and Danny Trejo as Jaguar was a treat.
I was dreading this episode for this exact reason, actually - the Tiny Rick episode is by far my least favorite one, just for the amount of people who went around shouting TINY RICK! But I like how it ended up tying in with the plot about the counselor. And Jaguar was funny too.
“He’s coming because I threw halfway my sandwich!”
Just noticed the Frinkiacand Morbotronpeople just put together Master Of All Science for all your R & M meme needs.
So why do the nutjob doctor turn the painting around? Seemed a bit phallic in the first place though.
One side is for family counseling.
The other is for folks who need to be encouraged not to eat poop.
Susan Sarandon was excellent. “And if you have any friends who eat poop and want to stop, give them my number.”
“That’s why you don’t go to counselling.”
Vindicators 3: The Return of Worldender. I really liked this episode too. Nice callback to the Mr. Meeseeks episode with Morty’s adventure stamp card. And some great lines :
“They let a few heroes of color die just because they don’t like working with you!”
“They were spared having to see their grown son wear a whistle.”
“It’s just, the defense budgets and all, nothing anti-Semitic.”
And poor Morty on the crappy ride thinking Rick was talking about him, only to find drunk Rick loves Noob Noob.
Yeah great episode. Good lampoon of superhero tropes. Definitely my favorite so far of the season after the opener.
That’s interesting. I didn’t like it much at all. My favorites were the opener, by far, and Pickle Rick. Roiland apparently tweeted that this last one was the weakest in the season in his opinion.

Loved the Pickle Rick episode - maybe the best this season. So absurdly over-the-top and action-packed I couldn’t stop laughing. Susan Sarandon nailed the counselor part, and of course Danny Trejo would be Jaguar. Now I wanna see it again!
The Vindicators ep wasn’t as good, I’d say, but did have my favorite RAM line in quite awhile: “I refuse to answer a literal call to adventure, Morty. Let it go to voicemail.”
One of the lesser used sentences in English.
It’s gotta be right up there with, before December 2013, “Wubba lubba dub dub!”
I loved the Pickle Rick episode for being so totally absurd no-one else could pull it off - and not only did they pull it off, it was hilarious and tied into the wider story too.
And it’s always great to see Danny Trejo in things too. 
The Vindicators one was good but not the series highlight for me so far.
Very true, and one of the things they pulled off was giving Rick some moments of being fairly human and even acknowledging having done something less than brilliant, without making it seem out of character. “Okay, I may have f*cked up here”…hilarious because of all things, he chose a pickle…A PICKLE!
Well done on every level.
I particularly liked how his offhand “I want to challenge myself, Morty” handwave at the start turned out to end up being what he actually had to do, too. 
I did like that Morty basically solved all the puzzles by knowing Blackout Rick, including saying that he was getting pretty good at disarming Rick’s bombs.
Ordered one of these just the other day.
