And I never understood the hate towards Monica. I think she’s rather good looking.

She’s cute, but not especially attractive. I’d say that “hot” should attract attention above and beyond the norm. Put her on a Manhattan sidewalk and she wouldn’t stand out in the slightest.

Agreed. I always found her attractive as well and have never really understood all the digs. Again, she’s not hot but she’s pretty damned cute, which I actually prefer to hot anyway.
