I’ll try to unpack this. First of all, it’s pretty well-established that the OP is no friend of the protesters from last summer. Secondly, recent threads on the Dope about disturbers of the peace facing consequences for their actions have largely been about schadenfreude being directed at supporters of the America-hating fuckstick. This thread, begun by this OP, appears to be what he may think of as retaliatory in nature, in that it aims some schadenfreude in the direction of BLM supporters.
IMHO, it it doesn’t take much squinting to see that this at least casts a similarly-shaped shadow to trollery.

Feel free to alert us to more recent incidents of misbehavior by dumbasses who happen to nominally share some of our values (when you find them), and we won’t defend them then, either.
You can suspect anything you want, far be it for me to restrict your rich mental fantasy life . If I had my druthers, you would respond to things I actually post.
The OP is only on this board to troll liberals, and they’re actually doing a pretty clever job of it. It’s just that the culture here is too naive to notice what @MrMrmrmr is doing. They stopped understanding troll behavior about a decade or so ago.

BUT, as a thread idea, it’s good. A chance to make fun of those idiots who identified themselves… through the bad decisions they’d made years ago.
Which brings me to wonder why they’re not all proudly declaring to the judge they’re guilty of what they did.

Seriously. Storming the Capitol in an attempt to overthrow the government because Donald Trump told you it was a good idea is not beginner stupidity. You have to practice with years of making poor choices to reach that level. This was like the Bad Decision Olympics.
