I never met Autolycus but PM’d with him at times about life in Japan. Based on his member information and pics posted on links. I found what I believe is his FB and a video of him on YouTube.
Condolences to all who knew him, both in real life and as one of our favourite posters. Especial thoughts to his mum and dad and may they find solace in the fact that their son left an indelible impression (at least) here.

i think he’s getting better but far from 100%. someday, i hope he can join us again.
i don’t think i ever interacted with him but i’d heard of him despite being tucked away in my mafia cave. truly gone too soon.

tdn, if you think it’s appropriate at some time you might make his parents aware of this thread just so they can read some of the comments and have a better sense of just how many people their son touched and to what degree. It’s telling and it’s moving.

Oh no. I really liked that guy. I even had a tiny Internet crush on him. He was just the right measure of sharp and clever and wry and sweet.

I’m wondering where and when memorial services will be held. Certainly in Florida. Hopefully in Massachusetts. Maybe Japan?
