Mentioned upthread in fact.
I hear he is feeling much better now.
ETA: Just thought I would mention, while Night Court isn’t one of my absolute favorite shows, I did really enjoy it and almost 6 years ago, I ended buying all 9 seasons of the show. At the time, no one was showing it.

Dang, I could swear he had already died and asked my sister about it, and she thought the same thing. Were there rumors about this that we’d heard???
Anyway, it wasn’t my favorite show, either, but I’d watch occasionally and have a chuckle or two. RIP.

FWIW cancer to a degree IS a height related medical issue.

The increased risk is estimated at only about 1% per 5 cm, but still it seems real. (Overall shorter people live longer .)
I did like the Bull character.
I honestly couldn’t name a single thing that he did outside of Night Court , but I just checked Wikipedia and he had a very healthy career before and after the show. I see he did a whole bunch of voice acting, which doesn’t surprise me at all.

My favorite Bull moment: Bull recites a lugubrious poem with an unexpected ending:
'Forever Damp‘ by Bull Shannon
Lethargically, he trudges down
To the shore of the big wet sea
Sensing their fate of impending mud
His feet seem to cry, “Why me?”
The slime rises to his ankle bones
His mind flies far away
To the time he missed the boat of life
Hey nonny nonny nay
(From episode 02x17, ‘Battling Bailiff’)

He does look quite different with hair.

Well. I guess I should’ve done more research and not relied on my memory; the poem in question was written by Bull, but recited by the Judge. Oops.
I remember an episode in which Bull wound up on a date with a pair of beautiful blonde twins; after the date, he recited:
I noticed him in an episode of The Rockford Files . He plays a heavy who tries to abduct Rockford from his trailer (that doesn’t narrow it down much).

I noticed him playing villains in really bad sci-fi and fantasy movies. “Hey! It’s Bull, as a one-eyed mutant! Hey! It’s Bull, with long hair and a Dracula cape!”
Yeah, when you’re 6’8", with a heavy brow and lantern jaw, your features likely typecast you a lot.
He also played the evil sorcerer Xusia in the Conan the Barbarian ripoff The Sword and the Sorcerer (1982) under a ton of makeup.
Yet his first feature film role was LDS church founder Joseph Smith (!!!) in Brigham (1977)
