Made it to Oregon. Adventures have been had. Waiting for all our stuff. Too tired for full post.

Moooom, you done flung a cravin’ on me. I may give the oven a test drive this weekend with a beastloaf. Not nearly so fussy as bread, cake or pastry. 
So, rosie and doggio met up today but neither one has posted. Reckon they axe murdered each other?

Nah. We’re both still alive. He went back to his hockey party and I’m posting from bed. The humidity stole my spoons. But we had a nice afternoon.

Finished soccer practice and I let Ms. Wendy do the cooking, since I forgot to bring my water with me (I’ve told the kids and parents several times to make sure they stay hydrated, so it was the coach who was nearly passing out in the 90F heat). However, I survived and the kids are coming along pretty well.
Up again.
This sucks.
I’d call my friend who irks nights but I forget if she has the night off.
Woke up and there was light coming in through that bit where the blinds don’t close up properly. Uh?
Apparently my body decided to take advantage of the cooler temps to sleep in. There is probably something wrong in the fact that, despite waking up 3h later than usual, I was still on time at work.
I’ve been up since 1AM. No logical reason at all. I just woke up and couldn’t fall back to sleep. I tried watching TV, I tried different pillow configurations, I tried just lying still and thinking tired thoughts. Nope. At 4:30 I gave up and turned on the news. THEN I started getting drowsy. It’s gonna be a long day.
All kinds of severe heat warnings for the weekend, so no mowage will be done. I do have to run to the convenience center to take trash and recycling. They open at 8, and I plan to be there as early as possible. Beyond that, I don’t think I’ll leave the house.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN 'Tis 74 Amurrkin out and cloudy with a predicted high of 93 and partly cloudy but with maybe a chance of rain. Or not. No big plans for the day which is fine by me. I may go through the closet in the study. Or not. Cee-mint pond time is also a possibility. Magic intartoobz pizza shall be dindin. I’ll even go pick it up. Go Me!
OK, that’s all I got. I need more caffeine and to feed rumbly tummy. Then, well who knows!

The good news of the day is that Comsucktic does respond when you file an FCC complaint against them, at least as far as giving me a phone call. We’ll see if calling them back gets them to come out & do repairs properly; what say ye…fifth times the charm? :mad:
In today’s episode of how to delay going to irk, I sat on the floor & cleaned the front of the stove/oven. Yanno, one doesn’t realize that the bottom of the oven door handle is that dirty if one doesn’t see it. There was evidence of some spills that ran down from the top of the handle to the underside where they become invisible to a normal-heighted (or taller) person. Evidence shows that they were previously wiped but not scrubbed to sparkling. That evidence has now been removed.

Spidey all gay houses have seekrit passageways that only the f-aaaaaa-bu-lous may pass through. The rest of the house may look normal but the passageways lead to the real gay part of the house.
MOOOOOOM if’n I got to do stuff I prefer to do it early mornin’ whenever possible. That and the fact that I’ve always been an early riser. Once I wake up I’m up. I’d like to train myself to make that around sevenish each mornin’ at the earliest. Maybe in time.

I was able to fall back asleep around 6, lots of weird dreams afterwards.
It’s a sunny 86 outside, predicted to go up to 94. That said, TWPTB also predicted rain for today.
Nothing special on the agenda today. We won’t be doing anything outside. There’s always something to do inside.
