"Rock You Like a Hurricane" by Scorpions now 'insensitive'

Not quite

As someone who had a direct hit from stupid Irma the cuisinart tree processor

No, i dont mean i evacuated and my house got hit, i mean i was there in it.

I don’t care what they play, i am pretty sure someone in Florida played it.

I didnt play anything because Irma stole my electric water phone and internet.
Thank god for work (did i just say that?)

And I say the problem is the exact opposite. People need to stop freaking out about the basic politeness that any of us would have used in the past. The South, which is primarily on the Right, used to be renowned for their hospitality. Now the Right is all “how dare these people be offended!”

I see far, far more people being jerks and then telling people to not be so sensitive than I see people being particularly touchy. And, even then, I was definitely raised that you try not to offend those people who are really touchy. There’s a reason why I was taught all those little white lies to avoid offending people. “Yes, grandma, I’m really happy you got me this amazing sweater!”

As far as I can tell, grandma would be considered a “snowflake” today.

Nah. Just replace the offending allergen.

Buy me some kale chips and Crackerjack,
I don’t care if I never get back.
As to sensitivity: my cousin in Florida literally has that song on her hurricane playlist.
