Because in real life, she is a terrible person- rude to those “beneath her”, yells at underlings, etc.

I remember seeing tapes of her standup, before she got her talk show. She was incredibly nasty, but funny.

Which was why I had to laugh at seeing all those stories about “nice” Rosie cleaning up TV talk shows. That’s like portraying Paris Hilton as an icon of dignity and class.

I think they should just junk the entire show-it’s pretty much run its course.

I seem to recall back when they signed her that she had only been signed for a year. I think she always intended it to be just for a year to get her back in the public eye and perhaps set her up for bigger projects. I wouldn’t put it past her to have made a point to be even more outspoken than usual in order to get noticed.
Roseanne Barr as a possible replacement? Why not get someone who will let the other hosts get a word in edgewise or just not bother with the other co-hosts?

I heard (too lazy to look up a cite) that they offered her a three year deal and she turned it down because she only wanted a one year deal…

Disclaimer: I have never ever watched The View. But I was reminded of “Steel Can’t Melt” Rosie yesterday, when the big interstate intersection in Oakland collapsed because of the tanker fire under it.

I don’t hate her. I just hate that we have so many morons in this country that she is able to make a nice living from what comes ot of her mouth. Sad.
