Disgraced NRL star Joel Monaghan expresses remorse over dog photo
I won’t link to the actual photograph, but it’s not good. After a number of scandals this year, the sport really didn’t need this.
Apparently the player involved had been selected for a random drug test, but became confused when he was told to leave his sample in the lab.

Well, unlike the OP I have no compunction about posting a link. Given what it is, this isn’t particularly graphic. It’s a pic of fully clothed man (with his pants pulled down just enough to free his privates) lying on the floor while a dog (apparently) licks his penis. Can’t see anything clearly.

Anyway, for what it’s worth coming from someone who follows rugby not one bit, I couldn’t possibly care less. I doubt this guy is abusing his dog in any meaningful way, and I imagine the consequences for him will be completely, drastically disproportional to whatever harm he caused (or failed to cause) with his dumb decision.

Makes sense to me. If you are keeping some freeloader dog alive what other things can he do for you - shit on the lawn, tear up some belongings. He isn’t going to cook you dinner or do a grease and oil change on the car.
And many Rugby League players are amazingly stupid.

When I lived in Australia I remember rugby league players had to apologize for smearing excrement around hotel rooms they stayed in. This is just about on par.
