Weren’t we supposed to be getting out of the war?
“. . . but they keep pulling me back in!”
Yeah, forgive me; I never heard of this mook before this thread.
Recently, I tried to express my opinion of the current POTUS and his wife and I see that many people strongly disagreed with me. In addition, many people were also quite cruel in their response to me.
Well, … fair enough. I supposed that I asked for it and sure as heck did get it.
I certainly can understand why people reacted in the way they did and I am truly very sorry to have created such a firestorm.
However I do wish to say that I did express my true opinion of this POTUS and his wife and his abilities to govern.
I truly do think he is a poor and foolish President and I’m sorry but I just cannot help thinking that in several ways, he is also a fool.
I’m just happy that we all have the ability to stand up and express our opinions in this society. That is the main point I now want to make.
Regardless of how I feel about this POTUS, I truly do love America and I do love the fact that we all have freedom of speech. Our forefathers had to fight and die for that freedom and we may well have to do the same one day. However, it is certainly worth fighting and dying to preserve that freedom and I want to say is that freedom surely is worth fighting and dying to preserve if we have to do that again.
So, regardless of how much we may disagree about this POTUS, I wish to say that like it or not, we are all in this together.
I can understand that many of you do not like that and many of you wish I would just leave or die or something similar. Well, that is your right and I just hope that you do not find yourself needing to fight to preserve that right any time soon.
I wish us all the best of luck.
What the hell?
You know what, Charlie? If you want to discuss something serious like the war-managing ability of the President of the nation you say you love, it’s probably a good idea not to step on your own argument by gratuitously insulting his wife in the same post.
If you want to cite an authority on how easy it is to manage a war, you’d be better off not using Donald Rumsfeld.
And if you don’t want “cruel” replies, it’s best if you don’t start the name-calling with terms like “OBozo.”
That shit may be considered clever on some troglodyte right-wing site, but not here.
Why of his wife? What’s she got to do with anything? She’s not some kind of hideous soulless inhuman monster like Nancy Reagan, is she?
You didn’t create a firestorm. Up until now you’ve just been a pimple on the ass of this message board. No one gives a shit.

Are you at all capable of explaining how you came to this viewpoint, are you just going with what you’ve told by some right-wing media outlet, or what?
You’re speaking in public to a bunch of strangers here. Imagine you, out of more or less nowhere, started ranting about the current President to a bunch of people at a bus stop, then insulting anyone who happened to ask what you are going on about.
What makes you think they’d take you any more seriously than you are being taken here?
I’d still vote for an ape over Rumsfield.
Charlie Wayne, you are a pompous numbskull.
Wow. Is that Mod Hat Off? Seems a little harsh just because you disagree with the guy.
“Like”.
Donald Rumsfeld’s opinion is worth slightly less than what the President paid of it. Also, wasn’t Rummy fired by GW (read: Cheney) for the way he fucked up the war in Iraq if we are going to play Monday morning quarterback, here?
Is Rumsfeld suffering Alzheimers, angling for a job on Fox News or is he just a nucking fidiot?
Seems more like a statement of fact to me. The OP is his cite.
Maybe Obama could then spin it so that he can earn a few dollars doing publicity for King Kong on Broadway.
What ever happened to Faye Raye?
[SHE GOT FUCKED BY A 40-FOOT GORILLA!]
That delicate satin-draped frame
As it clung to her thigh
How I started to cry
[YOU’D REALLY CRY IF YOU GOT FUCKED BY A 40-FOOT GORILLA]
Because I wanted to be dressed just the same . . .
Amy Adams will be so disappointed in you. She’s a kiss kiss yumm yumm sweet girl and doesn’t like when guys are such blithering idiots.
As it clung to her thigh
[IT WAS STUCK TO HER CROTCH!]
And yet the trained ape that Rumsfeld worked for didn’t get any better results out of Afghanistan either with or without Rumsfeld.
