Is anyone else confused about what exactly Rush is claiming about the coronavirus?

On the one hand, he appears to be claiming that it’s nothing to worry about–specifically “the common cold”–and that the media is overstating the risk to bring down Trump.

But then he claims that the outbreak is related to China’s biological weapons research. Which, if true, would seem to mean it’s something different than (and more dangerous than) the common cold, and probably more dangerous than even the CDC is saying.

So, a bloodcurdlingly evil commie plot, but no big deal.

He has one last shot at redemption. He can use one of his last shows to explain that everything he’s said for all those years has been performance art and he didn’t really believe any of it. It was all to get rich.

I didn’t wish cancer on him. But now that he has it I’m happy that he’s going to suffer.

I don’t want him to suffer any more than the suffering he’s personally responsible for. Although as a founding member of the conservative stupid-culture, that’s probably a quite a bit.
