I don’t see any categories under which the Landmark Legal Foundation would qualify, unless they’re claiming to be an “institute of foreign affairs”, so this little publicity stunt will likely end up in File 13.
If Rush won, his $1.6 million prize would be $600,000 more than the annual budget of the Landmark Legal Foundation. And this is “the leading conservative public interest law firm in the United States?” Geez.

Yeah, nomination means nothing. IIRC, Bush and Blair were nominated during their bloodthirsty march to war.

Great. Now, every time Rush says something stupid (approximately 1,000 times per day, by my count), some Freeper will chime in to defend his idiocy by citing the fact that Rush is a Nobel Peace Prize nominee.
Since LLF is not entitled to nominate Rush Limbaugh, isn’t he not nominated for a Nobel Prize? Anyone can nominate anyone else, but most people aren’t going to have their nominations counted.
Christ, even Hitler, Stalin and Mussolini managed to wangle real Nobel peace prize nominations.

Allow me to peacefully call attention to my own legacy of peace, and further note that 1 million dollars will purchase enough illegal prescription meds to make me even more peaceful in the future. The remaining 600 grand I will freely distribute among all those who nominated me, so everyone will get their own ‘peace’ of the action.
