I have a few words I always make the same typo on, even if I am thinking about the typo when I type the word. My biggest offender is the word proably, I did it again!!
I very frequently type “contain” as “conatin.”
Mine is “becasue” (because), which I mistyped writing it here. :smack:
Business and convenience, both of which I have to type in emails regularly at work. I misspell both of them in many different ways, but wouldn’t you know I got them both right on the first try this time!
Mine are. Thnaks and tickeys for thanks and tickets. Nearly every time. :smack:
I almost never get the word “the” right first time. Other words with a th cause problems too.
I cannot type “studio”. It comes out “studion” every time. I have no idea why.
I knew a girl who constantly typed “teh” for “the”. It happens.
That’s like the song from Oklahoma! - I’m Just a Girl Who Can’t Say No.
I always type ration when I really mean ratio, no idea why. Fortunately I don’t use the word much. But nearly every day at work I end up typing reslut instead of result. Leads to some interesting mental pictures.
I also do “teh” for some reason.
It took me years to type definitely correctly. My fingers always want to put an a in the middle.
I finally solved that one by realizing it has “finite” in the middle.
Th one I can never remember without spell check is necessary.
And I, more often than not, type thought (as in, “it’s taking longer than we …”) when I meant [del]thought[/del] though.
I have a problem with the word “thanks”, which I routinely misspell as"thasnk".
I tend to mess up any word that starts with a vowel followed by a double consonant, then a vowel and a single consonant. So, “ireggular”
“Network” always comes out “newtork”.
I don’t know why exactly, but that one’s kinda cool.
The name of the I live in is “Englewood.” Almost every day I see a reference to “Engelwood” somewhere.
First word that came to mind for me upon reading the thread title was “probable,” which usually ends up as “probably” (e.g. “There was probably [sic] cause for the search”).
