Same Witch Time... Same Witch Channel. Witchblade season finale tonight!

w00t! Boy, I loves me some Witchblade, and I’m so excited about the season finale tonight. I know, I’m a loser, but… it’s such a cool show!

Plus, Yancy Butler is just bad-ass.

Mmmhmm… Tuesday offers my weekly ‘blood and guts and violence’ fix… 'Trauma: Life in the ER" at 8, Witchblade at 9.

I’ll tip a Heinekin at the TV tonight at 9 in solidarity!

For some reason, I thought you’d like Witchblade bobkitty.

It’s nice to know someone else does.

Hey, we’re over here watching it every week! Mrs. T and I have been fans since the beginning. Caught the pilot movie when they showed it back at the beginning of summer and have been following it ever since.

So you can be dam’ sure I’m gonna take a break from stripping wallpaper to hoist a Negra Modelo m’self at 9 tonight.

BTW - Mrs. T and I recently debated the possible outcome of a three-corner bout between Pez, Buffy, and Max from Dark Angel. P’raps an IMHO thread is in order. I figger the TMs would be able to settle it.

Oh no Tygr… they can’t run Buffy against Witchblade. I’m afraid I would be torn apart. I’m hoping Buffy and Witchblade work out like Buffy and Angel last year, with one right after the other.

And that they leave Angel on monday.

Dark Angel can rot.

Oh wait… now I get what you’re saying. I’ve been in the real world too long today.

Pez would win… hands down… Buffy and Max have the strength, but Pez has the Witchblade… I mean, if bullets can’t stop her, I don’t think two hyper-powered teenagers have a chance.

Oh hell yeah! What a schway episode!

One has to wonder if they really are gonna start from the very begining next season only with a new plot-line.

Wow…

Have they decided that they’re bringing it back? It was my understanding that it was a one-season run… I’d be most pleased to be wrong, though.

Not sure… I keep checking Witchblade TV to see.

I was thinking the same thing…I could swear that I’d heard the upcoming episode promoted as a “series finale”, not just a “season finale”.

Yep, that was a phenomenal episode.

But I still haven’t made up my mind about the deus ex machina ending.

Sure, it’s great that she was able to turn back the clock to before the FIRST of her friends was killed, but it still seems a little bit of a cop-out. Really well done, though. Great to see the bastard Captain finally get his.

And you can be quite sure they are going to continue with the series: IIRC, it’s one of TNT’s highest rated shows this year. If it makes 'em money, they’ll keep doing it.

Well, someone already has mentioned the ending, but just in case, SPOILER AHEAD…

What the HELL were they thinking with that ending? The most pathetically overused literary device is the “And they woke up and it was just a dream.” This is pretty much the same thing. Hey, let’s turn back the clock so none of that bad stuff ever happened.

Lame. Very lame.

I thought the ending was great. She gets the satisfaction of resolving all her problems and watching the guy who ordered her “fathers” death die, then she is able to bring everyone she loved back. I didn’t think it was a cop-out and I’m looking foward to the next season as this one was billed as a season finale

Well, if time had rewound itself, then the captain is still alive, the White Bulls are still active, and a few assorted murderers and evil-doers are still on the loose. And she has (almost) no memory of the erased time, so she knows nothing about the Witchblade. It all has to be done again.

I still think it’s crappy story-telling.
