Sampiro, not much to say here other than you and your mother have my prayers, and sympathy.
I won’t try to blow sunshine up your ass, since what you’re going through sucks majorly, and if anyone on these boards has had their fair share of suckage, you’re one of them. I have faith that you’ll find the strength to carry on, and do all that you decide needs doing. But that doesn’t make this anything less of an ordeal or trial for you.
I’ll miss you while you have to spend time away from the Dope, and look forward to whatever you may choose to post.

Glad to hear you’re cooled off a little, Sampiro. I didn’t think you’d get banned, but I did think you might have gotten a time-out. I don’t wish any harm on the people who said inexcusable things - someone who would do something like that is hurting badly already. They don’t have the right to take it out on the world, though.
Please think about letting the local Dopers help you - it’s hard to accept help, but it’s good for you, and it’s good for them, too.
Sampiro, I’m glad to hear that you’re not gone forever. You’re one of my favorite posters and turn quite the pretty phrase.

I, too, have nothing to add except that I’m so sorry about your Mama, and I’m glad you’re still here. I read every thread you start, and when you publish your book, I’ll be one of the first to buy it.
Sampiro, it’s good to hear you’ve calmed down-take a break, you have earned it. Don’t listen to those people-they’re not worth it, and they do it on purpose.
I mentioned in another thread that we’re in the same boat with my grandmother-every time the phone rings, my heart stops. My dad is going through the same thing you are, and I can completely understand why you reacted as you did.
