If that is the case, then I agree that it is seriously fucked up. I mean, if you really think someone is a loser, why go through all that trouble to find them? And if “the law came down hard on them” and got places who allow that to be shut down, I am glad that was the case. I wasn’t aware of those.

I also agree with lobstermobster that for the most part it is absolutely harmless- just people saying what the rest of us are thinking while reading some of the more ridiculous threads posted here. Human nature, blah blah blah. But I do agree that sometimes (and I’d argue those instances are incredibly few and far between), some folks go overboard- namely in the case of MizGrand and her whole fiasco.
That said, I actually agree with the OP (and really, this goes for anyone who is overly concerned with what anyone is saying about them, Snark Pit or otherwise): why worry? I was originally sent over there because they were snarking on me and, to be totally honest, it was more funny than any thing. What do they say about me? I’m fat- true dat. I’m careless in my posting and often having spelling errors or improperly used idioms- true dat. I work for the family business and have a pretty easy life for a college student- true dat. I think Marines are hot- definitely true dat. The worst thing was probably when a stalker from the Dope (who isn’t around anymore) somehow got his hands on a salacious picture of me and posted it all over there (I’m so over explaining how it happened, PM if you must know)- and even then, the moderator deleted the picture for the most part.
