I’m definitely in for the Sunday evening thing at the Redwood Room, and as for the ball game - I’d love to go. I don’t have much faith in either the bracelets or the scalpers, but I’m game.
Where is everyone meeting? How do we recognize each other (those of us who haven’t met yet, that is).

I’m all for the Redwood at 5 pm tomorrow. Is anyone actually going to be there?
When I talked to him last night he said he wanted to hold off making evening plans until he talked to his IRL friend, because if he could stay with his friend instead of a hotel it would affect his plans. He’s supposed to call me today if he wants a ride from the airport. If he hasn’t posted by then I’ll let you know which way he’s leaning.
OK, I’m still home, I’m driving to the Airport at ~2PM CST. Between now and then you can get me on AIM. I’m going to put together a E-mail list and send out a note with some details. Hopefully I’ll be able to get in touch with everyone somehow between here and e-mail. As for todays plans, I’m landing at 6:38 local and intend to go first to my friends place. I am not sure if I’ll be taking the BART or renting a car, I’ll probably figure that out once I pick up a BART map at the airport.
The Redwood Room sounds cool, and being a quasi-tourist I’d like to check out the landmarks. Sunday night there sounds good to me. As I’ve said, I’m going to the game on Sunday at 1:30. Assuming I get out of the ballpark at 5 PM I’ll leave it to you guys to decide what time is realistic for me to get to the Redwood Room. The meeting can obviously begin whenever, but I’m guessing i wouldn’t get there until 6ish.
Saturday I’m tenatively planning to go to my friends place, and most likely go out with those guys. If I have enough time warning I’ll try and spread word to see if any of the Saturday yeses can meet me there. slackergirl I appreciate all your help and chat last night, but as of now I think you’re off the hook on the ride, really appreciate the offer, I’ll buy you a few rounds :). On the off chance my friend calls and cancels (with him and girls its always a possiblility) I’ll do whatever I can to get in touch with everyone. If your e-mail isn’t available here, please get it to me soon so I can send you my cell# and other specifics to make last minute plans. WhooHoo!!!
Hmm…i MIGHT be able to go (i’m still unsure) if I take BART up to the city from Fremont. BUT this means i’d need to get to the BART station well before they all close, which I forget what time that is (i’ve done it several times with friends, but it’s been about a year since the last time). I have a car, but i dont feel like driving around the city at night. So, that means leaving your asses sometime around 10 or 11 
(unless one of the sober ones can get me back to my car in Fremont). Anyway, i’ll see what’s up. Someone in chat last night said I could possibly ride with her, but it’s not at all concrete yet.

So I’ll be at the Redwood room at 5:30 6ish. I’ll be the landmark as I’m hard to miss. Bleach blonde hair, big black plugs through my ears, youngish and pale. I was interested in going to the game, but I have prior commitments during the day. Sucks. Anyway I’ll see whoever makes it that evening.

Doobieous, I’m not sure where you live (Monterey I thought), but if you want to meet me somewhere closer to my house than Fremont (or at my house), I’ll take you into SF and bring you back to your car.
I live in Willow Glen (San Jose) near 280 and Bird. I could also meet you somewhere near the junction of 880 and 280 if you would prefer.
The one problem is that I do need to leave SF relatively early, like 11 at the latest, but it would solve your problem with BART.

Sue: Check your email, in case you havent already. I really appreciate this gracious gesture. I havent driven in SF at all except going through it, so I dont know it at all, and i dont know where anything is (well, except around Union Square). So, i’d rather not do my first test drive of the city at night ;).
But, i am going. I dont have anything else to do tomorrow, so i’m free. I cant miss this opportunity to meet Omniscient!
