Santa Claus is coming to the MMP!!

BoyDog got his bath, GirlDog is hiding in her den and wants no party of that, thank you!

I’m trying to be productive today and not everyone and everything is cooperating.

Howdy Y’all! Deheathenization, N.O.L., nappage, sup (grilled chikin on sallit), and haulin’ the biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig trash can all the way down to the road for pick up tomorrow have been accomplished. Ground beast is thawin’ and will be made up into a beastloaf for Tuesday. Beastloaf was requested by the bday boy. Tomorrow shall be prep time for the big NYD/Bday feast on Tuesday.

MOOOOOOM if St. Paul had a book of faces page, we’d all be tl;dr and use some punctuation and paragraphs dude! Speakin’ of which, I got told by several people again today that they always like it when I read because I do it so well. Warmed my heart cockles that did.

I had shrimp and broccoli for dinner. Cooked in butter with lemon and garlic.
The kid has been asleep all day, but I am going to start his tacos now. I’ll stick them in the fridge and he can heat them up.

I feel like I didn’t get enough done today.
Then again, I pretty much feel that way every day.

I don’t want to make moral decisions for anyone including myself but ------ pretty much. Years before I worked for Da Jungle the Old Wench got several books she had not ordered and was not billed for them. Like a good responsible adult she picked up the phone, called customer service, and tried her best to return them. Three hours and several calls later she changed her mind and donated them to the local library. YMMV but unless you just want to mark it “return to sender” and be fired as a customer -------- assume it really is from Spidey.

Smoked some beast and opened a bottle of wine. The cork sorta broke so I will be forced to drink all of it. Horror of horrors.

Pittsburgh just won. Damn.

**go

browns!!!**

Cancel that last. I was drunk. Am drunk.

**YEAH

RAVENS!!!**

To [del]commiserate[/del] celebrate how the Purple People were playing I imbibed on #3 elf for the end of both games.
Iggles make the playoffs!!!

That’s maybe ever worser

I’m sad. One of my favourite musicians has died.
RIP, Beard Guy from Walk Off The Earth. :frowning:

Seriously; my deepest sympathy. I still have not recovered from the death of David Brockie; one of the greatest vocalists I have ever met and I believe a fellow Canadian of yours. The bodies may pass but the music they leave us will leave forever.

I Agree with ruble, Sari; if you want, donate it to a charity that can use it.

Soccer has been coached/refereed but grocery shopping will wait since the shelves have been picked pretty bare and I doubt re-stockage will occur until Wednesday. Have enough in the house to continue normal life until then.

Neighbors dropped some gifts on me, I always get them something (gift cards for a dinner out and Sport store gift cards for the kids) so I got a pair of PJ bottoms (they introduced me to them two years ago and I loved wearing them), some Hickory Farms food, and a box of chocolates. They are real good folks whom I don’t deserve as neighbors, but we watch out for each other.

Catch all y’all at the end of the Year.

Nut out of coffee! Two month supply sounds prudent.

I tried a new injectable migraine drug today. We’ll see how it goes. Today I’m having some reactions, but they should disappear soon.

Howdy y’all!

I got the radio returned and went elsewhere for another. I set it down, still in the bag and went to SIL’s. While there, da nephew scrounged me up another one. He has also volunteered to find another tower for the puter and do a hard drive transplant for me if needed. Yay! I can return the purchased radio tomorrow.

Sounds like my roommate’s back. And one of her several brothers is here.
I kind of want to just listen to music and cry all night, but my roommate wouldn’t like that. The crying part, I mean.

I made the refreshments for after the second service at church today. I had little scones with candied fruit chopped up in them, peanut butter cookies, sugar cookies cut out with my dachshund cutter, and sausage cheese balls. The latter are a favorite with the crowd ever since I started making them. Thankfully they are so easy to make. You knead together equal amounts by weight of baking mix, grated cheese and sausage. Then you scoop the mass into little balls and bake until sausage is cooked and the balls are browned. That’s it.

I had some leftovers, a rare occurence, so I encouraged people to take the rest with them. Didn’t take a lot of arm twisting. One thing that pleases the clergy when I do the eats is that I assemble a sampler platter and take it to the vesting room before the service, so they can get some. What can happen is that clergy gets held up greeting people and talking to folks afterward, while the ravening hordes hoover their way through the goodies.

78 degrees at 8:30pm. A light breeze giving a hint of coolness on the ocean air.

Dog-sitted out neighbor’s dog all day. She’s a tour guide. The neighbor, not the dog, although the dog is so smart that it would not surprise me. A beagle-Jack Russel terrier mix. The dog, not the neighbor. The dog does surf and skateboard too, and can even dance a hula while wearing a little grass skirt and coconut bra set her owner made for her. Really.

today was meh…although I dont know if my ears making my tooth hurt or the other way around …

Have I ever mentioned that I hate your ass?
:dubious:

I guess it is the time zone or the weather, but another MMP began today.

dammit

I’ll be shedding a tear during my nightly stroll along the beach.
